The Blues Brothers are a blues band with a lot of soul. Founded by Dan Aykroyd and John Belushi in 1978, they originally performed as a TV musical sketch from Saturday Night Live. After much popularity, the Briefcase Full of Blues album was released. The hilarious classic The Blues Brothers movie came out a few years later. Even after the death of Belushi in 1982, The Blues Brothers lives on... the sequel to the film, Blues Brothers 2000, plus t-shirts and Blues Brothers costumes tell us that the blues will never die! |
