What are Schleich Smurfs?
Schleich is the second company to manufacture Smurf figurines, (Dupuis was the first).
Stamped with a signature "Schleich Stickman" logo or simply the word "Schleich", Schleich figurines are the most plentiful type of Smurf figurine ever made.
Schleich has been making Smurf figurines since 1965 and continue to make them to this day. |

Schleich Handbemalt Sticker | Schleich Handbemalt Sticker
Although known for having markings directly imprinted on the figurine, Schleich also put stickers on their Smurfs.
This Schleich sticker reads "Schleich Handbemalt" which means "Schleich Hand Painted".
Above the sticker you can also see a standard (non-Stickman) version of the Schleich logo stamped into the figure. |
Schleich Stickman Emblem | Schleich Stickman Mark
Wow! What a huge Schleich emblem.
This picture shows what is known as the "Schleich Stickman" Smurf marking, which is a round logo featuring the Schleich name and a unique stick figure.
The figurine pictured is interesting in that it features a particularly large version of the Schleich Stickman logo. |
Schleich Stamp | Schleich Stamp
This is a more common representation of the Schleich marking.
The Schleich Stickman circular stamp is found on many Schleich figurines.
In addition to this circular Stickman logo, Schleich also sometimes simply spells out its name "SCHLEICH" on the figurine, instead. |
