Six new Jakks Smurfs packs were released in 2010 in one the most creative sets yet.

Wave 5 includes some previously released characters - but they're in new pairings and new colors! Painter now has a purple smock (red in Wave 3). Baby now has pink clothes & holds a purple block (white clothes & a red block in Wave 2). Brainy now has a Baby Book instead of the green book in Wave 1. Greedy now has a Chocolate Cake versus a Vanilla Cake in Wave 2.

There are 9 Jakks Smurf Houses: Smurf House, Brainy Smurf House, Greedy Smurf House, Painter Smurf House, 2 Papa Smurf Houses and 3 Smurfette Houses. The houses were released three at a time. The first set was released in 2008 by Play Along. The second and third sets were released in 2009 by Jakks Pacific.
There are three versions of the Smurfette house. The first is a pink house with a pink / purple roof and yellow shutters. The second is a purple house with a purple / yellow roof and brown shutters. The third is a bright pink house with a pink / purple roof and cyan shutters. Smurf Accessory Packs
There are three Jakks Smurf Accessory Packs: the Bakery Pack, the Beach Pack and the Picnic Pack. The Accessory Packs come with a variety of smurf accessories.
The Bakery Pack has Greedy Smurf, Smurfette and Cupcake Smurf in a bakery setting, including a table, cake, pan, rolling pin, and more.
The Beach Pack has the Smurfs relaxing at the beach: Smurf lays in a lounge chair, Smurfette surfs in a bikini and Smurf has fun with a sand pail!
The Picnic Pack features a relaxing picnic in the forest along with a picnic table, sandwhich and drinks. Brainy Smurf has a basket and a book, Hefty Smurf has a picnic basket with apples, and Vanity Smurf has a bouquet of flowers.

Smurf Theme Packs
There are three Jakks Smurf Theme Packs available: The Smurfs Band Pack, The Smurfs Sport Pack, and The Smurfs Extreme Sport Pack. Each Theme Pack is uniquely themed to a specific style and comes with four figures.
The Band Pack has a package featuring a stage with lights, a rock star Smurf figure & keyboard, a singing rocker Smurfette, a Smurf with guitar, and a Smurf on drums. Smurf on!
The Sport Pack has Smurfette playing soccer, a football Smurf, a golfer Smurf and a baseball Smurf. There is even a podium to announce the 1st, 2nd, and third place winners of the games!
The Extreme Sport Pack features Smurf snowboarding, Smurfette on in-line skates, BMX Smurf and a skateboarding Smurf. The package even includes a halfpipe ramp!

Jakks Smurfs Around the World
Jakks Smurfs are an international phenomenom!
Jakks Smurf figures have been released around the world in multi-lingual packages, by companies like Giochi Preziosi as well as Jakks Pacific themselves.
You'll see boxes from many countries, titled: The Smurfs, Les Schtroumpfs, i Puffi, Los Pitifos, Etpoymp, Die Schlumpfe and many more. Whatever language is on the package, these are the same Jakks Smurfs we know and love. It is fun to collect international Jakks Smurfs!
Jakks Smurfs from China
Sometimes international Jakks Smurfs can bring unexpected surprises - like a Papa Smurf with white hat and pants! Perhaps this is before Papa became leader of the Village? Of course, nothing can really explain why Jokey Smurf has a red hat and pants - unless of course it's one of his jokes!
Odd Jakks Smurfs like the ones pictured are available for sale from sellers in China. These Jakks Smurfs are actually "error" runs of the Jakks toys (they were production mistakes never intended for sale). |

Note: Papa Smurf with Top Hat has black pants in the Giochi Preziosi international release, and red pants in Wave 3. Painter Smurf has a purple smock in the international release, and a red smock in Wave 3.
Sometimes international is the only way to get unique figures. So far, Handy Smurf & Clockwork Smurf have only been released as a foreign language package ... perhaps a lesson in Smurf languages is in order?

These 6" Jakks Smurfs are known as Mighty Muggs Smurfs because of their similarity to the Hasbro line of Mighty Muggs toys.
Urban vinyl is a generic term for Mighty Muggs-type toys. The very first urban vinyl toys were created in Hong Kong in the late 1990s. Many Mighty Muggs are available - from Star Wars to the Transformers.
