For my copy which was a Televista version back in 2008 when it still on sale on amazon i really can't afford to wait and collect money since it have like only few copies left! For $24.99 and i tell this to my cousin (kinda) in US to buy one for me. Thinking about convert the whole DVD into a good quality digital format like MP4. What a good cousin he doesn't even ask me to pay him back!

Seriously why can't they just released the **** thing in season sets?! The show is over 20 years old (30+ with the 1st season) I grew tired of all these easy cash grab releases. At this rate i would be in my 40s before they even touch season 9 (Sarcasm) WB IS greedy.

I have emailed Richard Walker (Fabulous Films) for some descriptions on two forthcoming DVDs for the United Kingdom, and he had kindly given me some DVD artwork sleeves, which included the description and featured episodes in each one.
So here goes:
LOVE SMURFETTE: 1. Smurfette's Flower 2. Smurfette's Lucky Star 3. Clockwork Smurfette 4. Wild About Smurfette 5. Soothsayer Smurfette 6. Smurfette's Green Thumb
PAPA SMURF ROCKS: 1. Papa's Puppy Prescription 2. Papa's Family Album 3. Papa's Last Spell 4. Papa for a Day 5. Papa's Big Snooze 6. Papa Loses his Patience
In a meantime, Seasons 3 - 5 are coming to United Kingdom on DVD from the first week of June! So be on a look out!

Well, that's great that Australia's getting the last three seasons of the cartoon show in sets. I wonder what happened to Magna Pacific.

Beyond Home Entertainment bought Magna Pacific back in 2009, and finally merged Magna Pacific mid last year.

I'm really losing faith in Warner Home Video doing anything for Smurf fans in America besides these cheap DVD releases containing only a few episodes. They seem to be of the mindset "Americans don't really care about the Smurfs". Doesn't help that the only season sets I'm seeing are downloadable streams for iTunes and Amazon Instant Video.
Interesting that "The Legend Of Smurfy Hollow" is getting a single-DVD release instead of possibly being bundled with The Smurfs 2 when it comes out on video, although it makes sense for it to come out before The Smurfs 2 on video because it's a Halloween holiday feature.

I honestly feel bad for you Americans regarding the DVD releases. There was a momentary period where the series was in the hands of Warner Archive, who would've done a vastly superior job with it. They would've given us season sets on DVD, and possibly even on Blu-ray too, as they do distribute some titles on Blu-ray and recently announced a Season 1 set for "Batman: The Brave and the Bold" was coming out on the format, meaning that cartoons wouldn't be out of the question. Sadly, WHV then decided to take back the home video rights to The Smurfs, and so the cheap, single disc releases continue.

Dammit,WB you never play generous aren't you? Released DVD with only few episodes and i'm pretty sure there are tons of free space left on the disc. 4 Episodes only used less than 900 MB of space I knew that because I ripped one of their "Less-than-half-a-dozen" episodes DVD before and with the same quality, this is just greedy as ****. I'll go with Aussies season sets instead.

For those fans of the Smurfs in America: If you thought this was bad enough, just wait until you see this.
As usual, the studio is targeting this release toward young children rather than adult collectors Warner Home Video will release The Smurfs - A Magical Smurf Adventure 2, a "sequel" title to the similarly-named 2011 DVD. This new single-disc item will be out November 5th for $14.97 SRP. Package art isn't available yet, but stay tuned. Here's a list of the included installments:
THE SMURFS: A MAGICAL SMURF ADVENTURE 2 1. The Baby Smurf (Season 1) 2. Bewitched, Bothered and Besmurfed (Season 1) 3. The Fake Smurf (Season 1) 4. Fuzzle Trouble (Season 1) 5. The Smurfette (Season 1) 6. The Magical Meanie (Season 1)
(I'm afraid this was no joke, although I'd wish it would be)

Gosh this is exciting! I knew everybody's making Blu-Ray / DVD pre-orders just before the movie's in theaters!
Here's a scene from "Spaceballs" just to prove it!

Wait till you see what happens when they watch the movie they're in: It'll kill you!

The Uk season sets from fabulous films are great! But the discs themselves are a mess! scratched dirty and with scuff marks right out of the shrink wrap! I've even bought 2 season 1 and 2 sets and they have all been a mess! Only one player in the house will read all the discs. Am I the only one with this problem?
