Snappy (crossing his arms, upset): Adults! Always smurfing the fun.
Brainy (serious): There's no fun in this situation at all, Snappy!

The Smurflings groan as they stood behind.
Papa Smurf: We're going to need a volunteer to taunt the fish into eating us!
Brainy: Papa Smurf! Didn't you just hear yourself?! Being eaten! I can understand distracting sorcerers from casting spells, dragons from destroying a city with fire, maybe an imp going too far with his tricks. But tricking a fish into eating us?!

Brainy (gulping): Oh. Yes. Papa Smurf.
Jokey (giggling): Ha! I knew it!!
Papa Smurf (continuing): ...and you too, Jokey!
Jokey (with eyes wide open): WHA?! But, Papa Smurf...
Papa Smurf (same): ...and don't forget to smurf a good amount of surprises with you. After all, it was you who managed to smurf Handy from Ethel's attack!

Brainy: (to Jokey) Ahem... What Papa Smurf meant is we'll just pretend to be its dinner and give chase when it comes closer to us.
Lazy: Well, I guess it goes to show that...
Brainy: (glares at Lazy) Don't push it, Lazy.
Papa Smurf: Now, can anysmurf get a big plate, utensils and some napkins?
A while later, Brainy, Clumsy and Jokey are on a big plate, with utensils and napkins on the side.
Jokey: This isn't funny, you know.
Brainy: Yes, but this setup isn't meant to be as such.

Greedy: As human cooks usually do, smurfing herbs to garnish roasted pigs, right, Papa Smurf? YUM...
Jokey (shouting, annoyed): HEY!! NOT THAT FUNNY!
Smurfette (worried): Oh, please smurf good care, you three!
Jokey (disheartened): I should have imagined...
Handy: Come on, Jokey! Did you forget what you had said much before? (impersonating Jokey's voice) "Relax! This thing is no match for my surprises."
Jokey (still the same): Yes, but after Ethel hissed that way I'm not quite smurfsure... Me and my big mouth!

Clumsy: Uh, okay!
So, the three waited for Ethelereda to show up. Jokey, Brainy and Clumsy thought of their demise, if the fish ate them up in one sitting. Meanwhile, Ethelereda was looking in her mirror. She then saw something down below. It was Jokey, Brainy and Clumsy posing as a delicious meal.

(The fish - now in its monstrous form - is in an old unused dungeon, with Peewit by its side.)
Peewit (talking in a catatonic way): Did you find anything of you interest, Master?
Etheldreda (in a coarse and horrid voice tone): Yes, my little slave! I've just see three tasty little blue elves on a plate, ready to be relished. Bring them to me! (snarling laugh)

Peewit (same): Yes, Master... I'll obey you!
(He leaves the old dungeon and after passing through several doors he goes upstairs to the corridor where the bait-Smurfs are waiting. While Papa is in the bedroom with the other Smurfs, Johan and the King's guards are nearby its door on watch. They get surprised to see Peewit.)
A guard: Look, Sir Johan, Peewit is back!
Johan (concerned): Yes, but he's got the same strange look yet. We better not make any sudden moves.
Papa Smurf (appearing at the door): Great Smurfs, the fish must have smurfound out we were waiting for it and sent Peewt in!
(Peewit appears walking in a movie Frankenstein-like posture, with both hands out in front of him, and sees the plate with the three Smurfs on the floor.)
(Brainy, Clumsy and Jokey begin to tremble.)

(Peewit bends down to pick the plate with the Smurfs and turns around to take it to Etheldreda, leading to the same door through which he had come.)
Johan (worried): Poor little ones... I only hope this shall really work out!
Captain of the guard: That's right. Must we follow him, Sir Johan?
Johan: Yes, Captain, but with no hurry. We need to go after him to find the place where that fish hides now.
Papa Smurf (leaving the bedroom): Just wait, I'll go with you.
Hefty: Me too, Papa Smurf! Perhaps I can smurf in something.
Papa Smurf: Sorry, Hefty, not this time. You must stay here with the others to keep an eye out so that everysmurf is safe, right? Don't let anysmurf leave the bedroom.
Hefty (proudly): Yes, Papa Smurf!
