I just watched The Smurfs I'm speechless when i came out i'm just oversmurfing with their cuteness and brainy and clumsy often make me want to cry! The original smurfs coming at the end credits is just too touching! The Smurfs is actually the first movie that i watch it the first day it in the theaters! I can go on and on how much i love the smurfs but But my conclusion of the smurfs is can be translate down into just one song: La la la-la la la, Sing a happy song. La la la-la la la, Smurf your whole day long.
La la la-la la la Smurf along with me! La la la-la la la Simple as can be.
Next time you're feeling blue just let a smile begin, Happy things will come to you...
So smurf yourself a grin!
Oooooo I hate Smurfs! I'll get you, I'll get all of you if it's the last thing I ever do! hehehehe!
La la la-la la la, Now you know the tune,
You'll be Smurfing soon!
My heart is finally warming blue! "I Smurf you brainy and all of you i wished i can meet you all someday, but until that time comes All for smurf and smurf for all!" -Brainy Smurf Snaeha "A Smurf at Heart" (sobs) Well...the hard is done and i'm sure as a smurf that i'll buy the blu-ray smurfs with smurfs Christmas carol this December! ![[Smile]](smile.gif)

There's no post-credits scene, they just appear as the credits roll. After you see the photos of Grace, Patrick, their baby, and the Smurfs rebuilding their village, followed by the last scene with Gargamel and Azrael, the Smurfs as they looked in the cartoon pop up all through the credits.

I saw the credits too, but only half the credits. I still want a 3D TV and Blu-Rays.

LG has a good 3D HDTV. I got one earlier this year. LG costs less and uses the same type of glasses used in the theaters. All the other 3D TVs I've seen require the expensive battery operated shutter glasses. I love mine, it's absosmurfly great!
Unfortunately the 3D Smurf DVD won't have the Christmas Special, so I'll probably just get the regular Blu-Ray Special Edition... Too expensive to buy both, lol.

Still, I'll obtain the Holiday Blu-Ray / DVD with the Christmas Special. I know 3D Blu-Rays are expensive, but one day, we'll have 3D in a less pricey fashion.

I thought that it was an awesome movie and the smurfs looked very detailed, Katy Perry was the perfect voice for smurfette! So far the Smurfs is my fave movie. <3

I didn't watch the 3D version because the showtime is too late in the night so i have to the Digital 4K instead. End credits is so cute all the epilogue photos and music! Actually the only place that i can watch 3d movies comfortable enough is in the theaters. I have 3DTV but glasses somehow make me feel so dizzy and if i watch more than 1 hour i feel sleepy. It's not a very good way to enjoy movies for me. That's why i get a regular blu-ray+DVD with smurfs Christmas carol. If i want to feel the 3D just use the 2D to 3D converter of the TV to see it in simulated 3D.

Our son took his 5 year old daughter and she said "we cannot go without Papaw. He has to come with us too." God bless her, we loved it! Kurt knew I wanted to see the Smurf Movie before, besides, I paid for everyones ticket and popcorn. I would love to have Smurfis staying at my house. ![[Angel Smurf]](graemlins/Angel_Smurf.gif)

Actually Squeaky I watch her maybe 5 days a week while mom and dad work and I had told her about Smurfs and we watched some cartoon episodes and I think she wanted to share that experience with me. SmurfFan we did see it in 3D, Brileigh sat between her dad and papaw with lots of oooo's and aaahh's and a good time was had by all. Well Kurt liked it- but not as well as Brileigh and I. ![[Angel Smurf]](graemlins/Angel_Smurf.gif)

Squeaky don't get me wrong...Brileigh is only 5 years old. Now she isn't so much about Smurfis (only if papaw talks about them), now it's all about Halloween. You know wikie witches, bats, black kitties, punkin face and bone guys. She is going to be a mummy this year for trick or treating and just cannot wait! She is asking and talking about these things now. Oh yeah don't forget about the werewolfis. ![[Angel Smurf]](graemlins/Angel_Smurf.gif)

Here's my personal opinions on the film itself, I just hope I wouldn't be too critical to those who enjoy it as much as I do.
Here goes! I know how some people would thought that it would may be like "We're not just got Yogi Bear in CGI...." or what-not. Well to be perfectly honest, I was going to think that it'll may not be good at first, after having seen the trailer. But as time went on as I got fascinated with the cartoon series, I have decided to give the film a good chance of viewing. And I had: Of course the animation was pretty good, though some of it just need some few little tweaks. (I'll have to admit that) The voice/screen acting were good (i.e. Johnathan Winters did a really good job voicing Papa, and pop star Katy Perry did a pretty decent job voicing Smurfette; But I have prefered Lucille Bliss' voice a little more, however I hope you don't mind this, and the same thing goes to everyone else) And my final thoughts on the film: I do admit that it may not be good to those, but for everyone else including to those in public; It turned out to be a good smurfy feeling in it's own way. (But what I could barely stand to tolerate is some cheesy close-ups of the Smurfs ) My rating: 4.6/10 (Animation = Good, Voice/screen acting = Great, Visual Effects = Great and everything else = Absolutely smurfy.)
But then here's the last note: They couldn't beat the charms of the original cartoon series.
Hope you enjoy reading the review I made! Daniel Coffey
