Thanks for big update smurfy!
I know kenan thompson before he's very funny
and he's fat too so no problem for him as
greedy!
I really interested in the way that they
chose fred armisen for the role of brainy!
Someone with glasses on,specified for this role!
He is wearing glasses but if they want someone
suits for personality that'll be me!
But i'm not wearing glasses. (laugh)
It's must be weird that this time they decided
to smurf baker off the greedy's
and make them a different character again
just like from comics!
Last day i just watched the smurfquest episodes
on youtube it's smurftastic! ![[Cool]](cool.gif)
And i realised that the first and second episode
that i watch all the way back in 1999
is this smurfquest!
I smurfing start watching smurfs from the smurfiest!

I found these three pics of Hank Azaria in character from comingsoon.net. I have to say, the resemblance to Gargamel in the cartoon is remarkable, it's practically spot on.

Apply dark lighting on him and he'd look pretty scary. But as he is, he looks pretty close to the genuine article.

And Sassette, thanks also for the awesome photos! Mr. Azaria became a pretty good Gargamel, now he could put a prosthesis on to disguise his teeth, since old mean Gargy has in fact only one... Hehehe!
Still, there's something I don't understand yet... I wonder if the movie producers 'separed' Greedy and Cook (Baker?) again? Yes, because in Peyo's original comics they were two Smurfs, the first used to steal food (mainly desserts) from the kitchen, being pursued by the second with a rolling-pin in his hand. It was Hanna-Barbera who 'united' both in only a Smurf, bringing about Greedy Smurf with both characteristics. So, let's say there were two Smurfs originally, OK? Then why a Chef Smurf, since Cook (or Baker) is already the cook in Smurf village?? ![[Confused]](confused.gif)
And I wish I could ask these same producers a question...

We still don't know what's gutsy smurf is
and what he'll be like.
For this time i think the things that we want to
know is gutsy smurf by any smurf!

One of my Empath fanfiction stories brings back the original comic book version of Greedy in the form of Greedy's brother Nabby, who is also a kleptomaniac.

Hmmm, Raven, maybe. This really makes sense... But this may still sound a bit strange for all of us here and other people who know the Smurfs' stories.
Brainy S., you're right about being patient. Really. But the matter is that I think many different things have been appearing. Anyway, let's wait and see, perhaps 'they' will change their minds, won't they?
I know Nabby Smurf from your stories, Vic. I only didn't remember he was a kleptomaniac (LAUGH).

More news:
Hannah Minghella, president of Sony Pictures Animation, said on March 29, 2010:
"We liked the idea of juxtaposing the Smurf values with the modern world. Smurfs grow their own food and are very environmentally conscious. They don't have technology or electricity. They do everything together and are really supportive of each other. For us, that was the starting point. Let’s bring that magic into the real world, the grounded world."
So the Smurfs are green (like Cartoon Network said!!) But he means they're eco-friendly, not actually green.
"They (modern humans) don't know how to react, but the Smurfs become an agent of change and bring magic into their lives" Minghella said.
So there you have it!
ALSO:
Tim Gunn from Bravo's Project Runway will play an executive assistant at Odile's (Sofía Vergara) cosmetic company.

Although the movie is in fact CGI, real-life minatures are used as "stand-ins" for the CGI department.
