So far, my feelings about this movie are pretty mixed. I don't know whether to get excited about it or to frown about it. Best thing to do is wait and see. ![[Roll Eyes]](rolleyes.gif)

i just need to say something, if george lopez is playing grouchy and katy perry is playing smurfette,
what happened to Michael Bell? The original voices of Handy,Lazy, and grouchy? Or Lucille bliss the original voice of smurfette?
also what is gusty smurf?

That's what I still don't get. Michael Bell (71) still does a fantastic job with his voice-over work and he and Lucille Bliss (93) are very active despite their ages. I think they could still pull it off instead of a fancy celebrity-voice cast. I find Katy Perry playing Smurfette too unfitting and although I like George Lopez, loaning his voice as Grouchy just seems out of place as well. I just hope this selection of "voice actors" has nothing to do with age or fame, but knowing Hollywood, they'll do anything they think will sell.

Hi guys i have some news is that quentin tarantino
gonna play as brainy smurf and kevin james as
hefty smurf.
I saw it from the wikipedia.
I think quentin will be just fine he's quite
funny guy and sometimes nasty so he good for
the role of brainy smurf but not perfectly.
If they let me play that role they'll face
almost the perfect actor for brainy!
But i can't audition i'm thai so it's my bad luck. ![[Wink]](wink.gif) ![[Embarrassed]](redface.gif)
Kevin james is ok for hefty smurf he's a comedian so mo problems for him,both of these
actors are nothing special...
And i'm still have sniffles but it's much better
now tomorrow it'll fine.
So what do you think about smurfs of smurfs village?
I'm now practicing drawing a smurf along the way.
Not a good start but i'd find it that i'm start
to get really good after first try! ![[Big Grin]](biggrin.gif)

Yesterday I was exactly like you, Brainy S. Today it got worse and my temperature came up, if I'm smurfing yet it's just because I don't want to give up!
I believe Mr. Tarantino is a very talented actor/director, though I really can't imagine him voicing a Smurf... Well, let's hope and see...
How great knowing you've been drawing Smurfs! That's just that, you must try and go on!!

I finished drawing brainy smurf!
It still not look good enough but my skills
improve a lot after the first try!
i can throw some smile to my smurfs lot more
than ever!
I hope you'll get better soon squeaky.
Now i'm smurf like a brainy now only very minor
sore throat that's ok i'll take some strepsils
and i'm smurf!
you know talk about weather in rio it's
comparable to bangkok but still cooler than
bangkok that's easily reaches 96degrees fahrenheit daily and someday a little above 100
degrees i'm just keep sweaty all day!
It's summer in thailand.
I'll just leave bangkok in time for the hottest
days in the country to go cooldown at monterey,california one of our place in the trip
i'll spend a day there.
For the cast of the movie i'm ok with that
and with jonathan winters it should be a smurfy
one!

Hank Azaria?! What happened to Wallace Shawn? I don't think he has the necessary 'physique du rôle' to incorporate Gargamel, unless the releasers have changed their mind and he'll simply voice him. And since Johan is in the character list, shall Peewit appear too?

NEW UPDATE:
(Entertainment Weekly)
Jayma Mays (from the TV show "Glee") will play the pregnant wife to Neil Patrick Harris' character, Johan. The movie centers on the happy couple's lives being turned upside-down upon meeting The Smurfs. The film will take place in New York City's Central Park. Production is set to begin next month.

But from west coast,new york is in east coast
so maybe i'll take a look if have a change!
And that live action technology sures makes
the animation looks lot more realistic than
done by computer alone!

Well,i'm quite surprised that hollywood tries
something that's very risky for the movie.
By smurfs things up or mess it up if they didn't
do it good enough.
Johan are no longer involve with smurfs' friends.
It sures smurfs fans but maybe it's time for
someone better than johan?
In this today's world it seems to be that way...

I hope they won't waste a 20years wait of fans
for nothing...
Okay,it's crazy weather there at rio but today
i got unlucky!
I'm playing golf and the sunlight was so intense
the humidity is very high and the wind is blowing
a very warm breeze!
My body is soaked with my sweat it very hot
and sticky!
I doesn't reach 100degrees but the humidity
sures pays off the temp let alone extreme
UV index!
I can't shoot lower score and get even worse
because i'm heat up lot faster than anybody
so i'm like a grilled chicken! ![[Mad]](mad.gif)
It's so hot here even now it's 10:35PM
the temp is still at 91 degrees!
So uh,thanks for your reply!
This is officially the last day that i'm in
thailand,i'll leave to LA at 8PM.

and my occasional artist mentor ravenchild!
