If anybody wants to see a new fad that dorkydorkone made, I found it right over here:
SONIC HAS WON!
OMG! TONS OF ANNOTATIONS ON THIS PAGE!
WTF? WTF?
Go discuss.

Annotations was one of the most unnecessary updates YouTube has ever made. I always turn them off.
I've seen videos like this, and, to be honest, I've seen better.

I disagree about the annotations. I have a video where the text in the beginning was misspelled only to notice it later. I didn't want to take the video down and reupload it due to the mass attention it already had, so I just overlayed an annotation over the word with the correct spelling. It's the people who abuse the annotations and overuse it that give it a bad name.
I agree with you about the video itself, however. No offense to Space Harrier Brainy, but videos like that are VERY obnoxious. I hate YouTube Poop. Such useless and unwatchable videos they are. ![[Roll Eyes]](rolleyes.gif)

I wouldn't classify these vids as YouTube Poop. It's more of a forced fad branched off of YTP. Some Poops are made just out of the maker's boredom, others ridicule their sources, while others are tribute to their sources.
I guess your right, Shane, about annotations being nice when used right. I was just a little harsh because I have never seen them used properly.
