As far as body paint, I suggest the Urban Decay Body Paint Kit with Temporary Tattoos website.

Although I've never tried it, the advertising looks pretty good. The website states "Long-lasting paints will stand up to swimming, dancing, exercising, etc." The kit only costs $28 US, so its not too expensive.
