Christina Ricci has just joined the cast of the sequel, she will voice a new character named Vexi, an evil version of Smurfette.
My immediate reaction to this news was "Oh yes! Awesome!" I wonder what the character's going to look like. If they have her a black hairstyle like the original evil Smurfette or something similar, I think I'd be very happy.
Christina Ricci Voices An Evil Smurfette
Christina Ricci is joining the sequel to "The Smurfs" at Sony Pictures Animation says Heat Vision.
The first CG and live-action feature, based on the classic Belgian comic characters and cartoon, opened last year and grossed $564 million worldwide.
Ricci will voice a new character named Vexi, an evil version of Smurfette (Katy Perry). Much of the original cast is expected to return for the sequel which Raja Gosnell is once again directing.

I bet she'll look like both the beautiful Smurfette and the Evil Smurfette with black hair just like in the comic.
