Hi, I'm making a Smurf village in Second Life (an online, 3D environment) and am currently working on the windmill and storehouse (have made a house, well, smurfberry bushes, and other miscellaneous things so far). I'm trying to find pix of them but, while a windmill playset was made, I can't find a storehouse one. I'm wondering if anyone knows of specific episodes where these buildings (moreso the storehouse) are shown? I know of Gormandizing Greedy and The Last Smurfberry but those feature mostly interior and/or limited exterior shots. I really just need a full shot, preferably with at least 2 different sides/views. I found a pic of a storehouse someone made (can't find the link now) but it's pretty small and hard to see any details.
I just bought my first playset, the well, from eBay today.
Check out Second Life (I get credit for referrals).

If anyone wants to check out Second Life (SL), it's free for a basic account (no land but can make and save stuff, explore, play games, chat, etc). I'm Eep Quirk there so just IM me in SL and I'll bring out the village for ya. It doesn't have a permanent home yet, but I'm trying to find people interested who would like to chip in to buy land (will be about $115US/month).
Unfortunately, SL land is expensive, and there's a primitive (parts that make up the 3D obects) count so you have to own more land to get more primitives. Anyway, if I can get, like, 10 people interested, it'd be like paying for an MMORPG (massively multiplayer online role-playing game) but it won't be that detailed at first. I want to let people play as smurfs, rent houses (live in the village) have quests (based on the cartoon mostly since that's what I know best, and have reference material for), village chores, events (weather, character, etc), etc.
I'm still planning it but it's a lot of work just for me to do on my own, so I'm hoping other people get interested and want to contribute. Then there's the copyright issue, but I have ideas for that too (non-profit; any earnings go back into supporting the project, expand the land, reduce monthly cost for core "investors", etc) I'm not really business-minded but I have ideas; just need to find someone that knows more about these things to bounce them off of.
Anyway, check it out! SL is free and it's really fun!

Unfortunately, no. In order to get enough prims and space, it's very expensive. :/ Whole regions are 65536m2 and 15000 prims for $195/month (+$1200 if you want a separate island away from the mainland). Eventually, as more people become interested, and want to chip in, the monthly cost will decrease for all. Ideally, it would be nice if some company like Cartoon Network, IMPS, Paramount, Nickelodian, etc footed the bill (would be a cool marketing tool to promote the upcoming 3D Smurfs movie!).
Personally, I can't justify paying at most $20/month for this--but even that's very high for me. I'd suspect most people would want to pay, if anything, at most, $5/month. Who knows? I'm not into money (like the smurfs) so I'd rather not have to deal with it if I can help it. Unfortunately, I don't live in a smurf society and Gargamel's capitalism runs rampant here in the real world. :/
I think a smurf (MMO)RPG'd be pretty smurfy! ![[Smile]](smile.gif)

Crates, sacks, baskets, barrels, Handy's catapult (in "Turncoat Smurf" anyway), etc--check the "pix" link above for interior storehouse pix.
