Here's the Cinemark Network movie theater promotion:
GET A CUP

Buying the 'cine box' (a combo with popcorn, soft drink and Fini Gummy Bears) one takes a movie cup. ![[Happy Smurf]](graemlins/Happy_Smurf.gif)

I went. I saw. I liked it. I thought it was good. But I would never call it "the live-action Smurfs movie killer" because it simply wasn't. It just succeeded in bringing the Smurfs back to their cartoon roots. And that it did well.
By the way, there was a Smurf playing the horn section of "Careless Whisper" by Wham! in the early part of the movie.

I saw the movie in 3D. Best incarnation ever. And more true to the comics.
I got this while I was there too.

Very nice DVD cover art. There should be an added cartoon bonus to it too.

The wait is either over or almost for me since I have a choice do I be able to watch it in time before the movie goes out of run or I wait for DVD/Blu-Ray release? I did waited for home media release with The Peanuts movie before. Hmm I don't know I was so busy...definitely leaning towards the home media release. This is going to be sad to know if the movie under perform in box office, the first movie record $560 something million is pretty hard to beat.
