(Not very far, they see Marina held by an armed guard.)
Marina (concerned): Be careful, Handy, I am...
Urchin's guard (arrogantly): Stay just where you are, little blue one! The princess won't go anywhere with you.
Hefty: Oh yeah? So, that’s what we’ll see! Smurf for it, Hercules!
Urchin's guard: Don't try anything, or else...
(The guard tries to shoot them but the sea horse is quickier and gets to disarm him with a tail slap; so Hefty manages to knock him out with some punches.)
Handy (hugging Marina): At last, my dear! At last I see you again!
Urchin's voice: I wouldn't say that if I were you, little blue bug!
(They turn around and see Urchin holding King Aquarius while pointing his sword at him.)

Handy (putting his hand on Hefty's shoulder): No, old chum. (Staring at Urchin) This fight is mine!!
King Aquarius (appalled): No, Handy, don't try to face him! He's mean and treacherous!
Urchin (cynically): What manners to refer to your future son-in-law, King Aquarius!

(Seeing that, Urchin turns around to hurt Aquarius but the sea horse bangs its head on Urchin's stomach just in time, making him drop his sword and roll on the ground, moaning with pain.)
Handy (jumping off the back of Ajax and pointing him spear at him): You better surrender, Urchin, and right now! Or else things won't smurf good for you at all.
Urchin (with helpless rage): Me, surrender to you, a miserable Smurf? NEVER!
(He tries to get his sword from the ground but King Aquarius is faster, picking it up.)
King Aquarius (severe): Enough, Urchin. It's over! You and your men shall pay dearly for all the suffering you inflicted to my daughter and Handy Smurf!
(Urchin's guard begins to revive and tries to stand up, but Hefty points his spear at him.)
Hefty: Smurf just where you are, okay? You won’t want me to get nervous again. (Hercules snorts, looking angrily at the guard) As well as my friend!

(Meanwhile, some Smurfs also wearing scuba outfits had entered the grotto and find themselves by chance at a dungeon. )
Sassette: Wailing wolves, such a gloomy place!
Clumsy: Gee whiz, indeed, Sassette!
Grouchy: I HATE gloomy places and "gee whiz"!
(Some voices are heard not very far.)
Voice #1: Hey there! Can you hear us?
Voice #2: Please, help us! We are locked up here!

Greedy (pointing): The sound smurfs from the end of that corridor!
(They rush off towards the point, finding several incarcerated mermen.)
Prisoner #1: Oh, but you are the Smurfs! You are friends of Princess Marina and King Aquarius!
Brainy: Yes, indeed! But what ever smurfed to you all?
Prisoner #2: We are guards of King Aquarius. That nasty Prince Urchin, after invading the kingdom with his terrible soldiers and sharks, had us all arrested!
Prisoner #3: Could you please release us? Do you have the keys?
Dreamy: No, more's the pity: we've just come here.

(Suddenly, a guard appears and sees the Smurfs)
Guard: Stay where you are, little blue ones! You are my prisoners now! Prince Urchin shall be highly proud of me, HA HA HA!
Brainy (staring at him with arms crossed): We, Smurfs, your prisoners? Only if it's in your dreams!
Guard (approaching Brainy): I'll make you eat your words, you cheeky little blue gnome...
(Brainy gives a whistle - and a sea monster appears before the guard, who gets in panic at once and tries to run away.)
Poet: Oh, none of that! (He holds the merman by his tail, making him fall on the ground.) Quick, smurf me a hand, everysmurf!
(Urchin's jailer squirms, trying to get rid of his captors in every way; but he's firmly held by the Smurfs, while Aquarius' guards laugh and applaud, appreciating the scene).
Brainy: And now smurf us the keys, if you don't want become our friend's lunch!
Greedy (licking his lips): By the way, his fish tail could make a smurfy soup...
Everysmurf: GREEDY!!
(Frightened either by the sea monster or Greedy's comment - maybe even both - the guard gives the Smurfs the keys. King Aquarius' men are freed immediately and Urchin's jailer is locked up in one of the cells. So, they all leave the dungeon quickly, accompanied by the loyal sea monster.)
Dreamy: Hurry up, let's smurf for Handy and Hefty! Perhaps they'll need our help to save Marina and her father.

Aquarius' guard: They must be in the main salon yet, where Princess Marina is held captive. We only need to get our weapons back and then we'll show you the way, friends!

Marina: NO! HANDY!! (She runs to the Smurf and takes him in her arms, sobbing. Ajax comes closer to them, foldling both with its snout.)
Hefty (furious): You rotten scoundrel, when I smurf my hands on you, I'll...
Urchin: Careful, blue guy! See this? (He shows a weapon with electric eel energy which he had kept under his arm band.) Just try something and you'll become like your little pal!
Urchin's guard (getting up): Bravo, my lord! May I imprison Aquarius and his daughter, as well as this insolent blue guy?
Urchin: Not yet, I want to gloat a little more before them. My triumph is complete!
Aquarius (still with the sword in his hand): You sea viper, you'll still pay for your deeds!
Urchin: Forget it, old fool! Your daughter shall be mine and no one else’s, I'll be the new king of Atlantica and there's nothing anyone can do!
A voice from the hall: OH YES, THERE IS!!

(Urchin and his guard turn around and see the Smurfs, King Aquarius' guards and, for their total scare, the sea monster!)
King Aquarius (moved): Ah, my friends... Glad to see you are finally free!
(One of the guards):And all thanks to the Smurfs, Your Majesty. Oh, and this sea monter too!
King Aquarius (approaching the monster, which reacts gently): Nice to see you again, my good friend! Well...(He shows Handy still unconscious in Marina's arms.) Would you mind helping this young brave Smurf come round?
(The sea creature nods and gets close to the little Smurf. It touches him with its snout - and Handy gets conscious immediately.)
Handy (opening his eyes and shaking strongly his head): Huh? Where...wheream I? (Then he sees a lovely face before his.) Marina?!
Marina (smiling tenderly): Yes, Handy, my dear, it's me...
(Taking the chance on the moment, Urchin tries to sneak out, but King Aquarius perceives it in time.)
King Aquarius: GUARDS!! GET THEM AT ONCE!
Urchin (handling his electric eel weapon): Keep away from me, or else...
Hefty (giving a chop on Urchin's hand, making him drop it): NOT THIS TIME, YOU SEA RASCAL!
Urchin: OUCH! (He and his guard are seized by Aquarius' men at once.) I am not beaten yet! Do you all really think you won? So just you wait! My soldiers and sharks must have already liquidated all those Smurfs in his ship outside, and and now they must be on their way to meet me here!
Voice: Well, I don’t think so!
King Aquarius (beyond joy): PAPA SMURF!!

Urchin (still arrogant and not giving up): And what makes you think about that, Grandpa?
Papa Smurf: Your soldiers are trapped in a small cave, guarded by the sea monsters that smurfed in our aid! And your pet sharks are imprisoned too!
(Urchin loses his speech and turns pale, finally recognizing he was in fact defeated.)
King Aquarius (to his guards): Take those two away and get his soldiers after. Lock them all up!
