Hi everyone, seeing trailers for the new movie has led me to pick up collecting smurf figures, and so I've found this site. Currently waiting for some 2006 Halloween smurfs I found on eBay (but unfortunately I've discovered today they are likely to be fakes). In the meantime, I've dusted off the old smurfs from when I was a kid and may or may not have tripled my collection in the past two weeks... uh oh

Hello there, Darth Smurf, welcome to Smurf family! Unfortunately not only Halloween Smurf figurines have been "copied" thoroughly but also Party and Native American ones. Take a look here. Would you mind posting some pictures of them? ![[Happy Smurf]](graemlins/Happy_Smurf.gif)

Hi I'm new to this site. My boyfriend and I recently found his mother's old collection of smurfs from way back then. We have a lot of the most rare ones such as the baseball smurfette. We have a lot of the different playsets as well. We are looking to sell them. I have been doing research through this website to see just how much some of the different smurfs are worth and looking at ebay to see what they go for. I do want to see how the market is for these though. Will you be able to sell these fairly easily? Please get back to me with some answers! thank you!!!!

So, like most 80s kids, I watched the Smurfs as a kid. I liked it, and I'm pretty sure I had a Papa Smurf plush, but I was never super into it or anything.
As an adult, I rarely gave my old, little blue friends a thought, and the two live-action films from the past few years certainly did nothing to rekindle my interest.
Enter "Smurfs: The Lost Village."
It was adorable. It was fun. It was so much more Smurfy than those last two movies. I found myself falling in love with the franchise in a way I haven't fallen for a franchise in quite some time.
I also may have found myself crushing on a certain tattooed smurf. *cough cough*
So yeah, hiya, I'm new. I have a lot of catching up to do (i.e. tracking down and re-watching the series) but I'm excited to, well, be excited about something like this again!

Also I've been agonizing over the name I want to ultimately give the character I've been developing (way harder than I, uh, smurfed!), but I think I finally settled on one, and as such, I've changed my display name to match.

Just joined. Smurfs: The Lost Village pretty much made me a fan.
Bit of history, my earliest Smurf memory was having a Smurf plushie when I was little (sadly no longer have it), and when I was older I would watch the show on Cartoon Network if it came on.
It wasn't until this year, I was looking at a store's book section and noticed The Lost Village novelization. What got my attention was that Smurfette and Brainy looked just like they did in the cartoon! I eventually bought the book along with a Hefty and Smurfette plush, missing out on the chance of seeing it in a theater.
Loved the story and even picked some of the classic DVDs. Yes, I even bought The Lost Village DVD on the day it came out, and loved it even more. The smurfs are pretty much on my mind now.
Favorite Smurf? Smurfette by far. Really like what she did in Lost Village, and learning about her past via the show episode and comic made me really like her.
