Title: Brainy's Flashback
Season: 2
Summary: When Papa Smurf and the others forget Brainy's smurfday again, the village leader uses magic to erase the last 20 hours of his memory to prevent another lecturing fit from last year. Unfortunately, he accidentally erased the last 20 years. The only way to get half of his memory back is to recreate the moment where Gargamel tried to capture his first Smurf.

The episode starts with Harmony sounding the alarm. All the Smurfs came to the announcement in full swing. Papa was at his mushroom stand for the announcement.
Papa Smurf: My little Smurfs, today is a very special day! But not just any day! Today is Brainy's Smurfday!
Smurfs: (groan with disappointment)

Handy: Papa Smurf, every year, Brainy just smurfs a lecture about his birthday!

Papa Smurf: That's because we all forgot his smurfday last year. He went into a lecturing fit about no decorations, no party, no gifts and especially no cake. We were so busy with our chores and, uh... my experiments, we didn't realize until it was dark.

Papa Smurf: Good! Now get to tidying for the big day and good smurf!
As the other Smurfs started to tidy up the village, Lazy was the first to complain.
Lazy: Oh, I hate working! I just hate it!
Hefty: Me too! I still don't know why we have to deal with Brainy on his smurfday! He's just there to act like he's more "perfect" than either of us!
Grouchy: I HATE more perfect than either of us!
Tracker: Well said, Grouchy. Well said, indeed.
At Brainy's house, he's looking at himself in the mirror to put on his bowtie.
Brainy: I'm going to be the most fanciest Smurf on my smurfday. Wait until the others see me in my smurfday bowtie. (snickers)
Clumsy then pops through the window to see Brainy.
Clumsy: Uh, howdy, Brainy! Happy smurfday!
Brainy turns to see Clumsy. In shock, he hides his bowtie.
Brainy: Clumsy Smurf, don't you know it's bad luck to see me in my bowtie before my smurfday celebration?
Clumsy: Gee, I'm sorry, Brainy. I was just here to give you your gift. (brings out a gift)

Dreamy: Yeah, I can't work!
Lazy: And I can't sleep to get out of work!
Smurfs: (indistinct chatter)
Smurfette looks at the other Smurfs, then turned to Harmony.
Smurfette: Uh, why don't we save it for Brainy's smurfday celebration this afternoon?

Brainy: They told me it takes place in the afternoon. But the moment after Smurfette tells them to get things ready, the other Smurfs get so sick and tired of my Smurfday, they just leave decorations lying around and Greedy leaves his cake in the oven. At night, the cake explodes and Papa Smurf would find out they bailed out on my special day.
Clumsy: (turns to find the other Smurfs have disappeared) Uh, I think you were right, Brainy! They're gone, just like you said!
