Hefty (visibly relieved): Whew! That's more like it indeed. Let's look for Miner, Handy; no doubt he'll be quite a help to smurf the gold! (They leave.)
Jokey (with a long face): And what about me, Papa?
Papa Smurf (patiently): You must stay here with me until they smurf back with Miner.
Jokey: And after that, can I go with them too?
Papa Smurf: Better not, Jokey; you must go home and stay there.
Jokey (crossing his arms, upset): With nothing to smurf, I suppose!

Hefty (fairly stunned): Is that a gold mine map or a treasure one, after all?
Miner (untroubled despite Hefty's remark): ...at last we'll find an oval-shaped rock. The end.
Handy: What do you mean with "the end"?
Miner: I mean that, according to the map, the gold mine is smurfed underneath the rock.
Hefty: Whew! At last. But how shall we smurf the mine under that certain rock?
Handy: Maybe there's something like a secret passage?
Miner: If so, it means that Papa Smurf or somesmurf else may have been there before; who knows?

Miner (laughing): Well, all I have to say is this saves us a lot of time!
Hefty: It's so obvious! But why the need to smurf these elements on the map? This certain Midge Peak, for example? I bet my best barbell it mustn't even exist.
Handy: Maybe it’s a cover, or rather, a ruse to smurf greedy people from finding the real place.

So, Hefty, Handy and Miner went into the trunk entrance and found themselves walking in a tunnel.
Miner: Keep it together, lads! The golden piece cannot be far behind!
Handy: "That's easy for you to say! This tunnel feels endless!", as what Brainy would say. (beat) Oh, now Hefty's got me doing it!
