Here's a picture I posted a long time ago... I'm going to try to input a scene like this in my fanfic eventually... It's of my oc, Ariel, with Brainy after they've been captured by the evil wizards that had beaten Gargamel to the prize of finishing the Smurfs off for good. Well, at least, just these two...

Calm down.
It's supposed to be where that Smurf takes a wrong remedy to cure his tummy ache. And instead, his skin turned pink.
And your mention about the slow transgression thing. That kinda works too.

Now, the next two are a normal Smurf and Papa Smurf (drawn in the early 30s Fleischer art style, pre-dating the Post-Code era from mid-1934 to 1942).

GASP!!!
I doubt any of the other Smurfs would be very surprised, though... They even hinted at it in the slides at the end of the Smurfs the Lost Village movie.... Vanity's reflection reaches out of the mirror and gives him a big wet kiss on the lips...
