Hefty: Take him to Papa Smurf's lab.
Inside Papa Smurf's lab, they brought the cure for Brainy's amnesia.
Brainy: You expect me to try some medicine?

Hefty: Yeah! Even though you've been a pain in the smurf all the time.
Clumsy (giving him a dirty look): You're not helping at all smurfing this, Hefty!
Hefty (sighing): OK, OK, I'll keep quiet then!!
Clumsy: Huh, you better! I'm still upset at you all because of what you smurfed to him.
Greedy (impatient): Say, let’s smurf the subject? What matters now is to make Brainy get well!
Poet: But we don't even know whether his problem is really amnesia! Does anysmurf remember if he had smurfed a bang on his head before?

Dreamy: No time for second thoughts! We have to smurf him back to normal now!
But when the other Smurfs turned around, they realized Brainy had run off.
Smurfs: (gasp, unison) He's gone!
Meanwhile, Brainy was running into the forest away from his fellow Smurfs.

(After a certain time, the little Smurf gets calmer.)
Brainy (wandering around the forest): Gold, gold, gold... Where should I get some gold??
(Not very far from he is, Selwyn the wizard are walking along, followed by Tharp the little gargoyle.)
Selwyn (sighing): I wish I could be more patient with Tallulah, Tharp; but there are moments when she really drives me nuts!!
(Noticing Brainy a little far.) Oh, but there’s one of the Smurfs! Hello there, little Smurf! How are you all doing?
Brainy: Hello there, kind sir; and you too, little nice dragon!
Selwyn ((intrigued): What? There's something strange with him... Aren't you Brainy Smurf?
Brainy: Eveybody tells me so, good sir; but I really don't know who I am!!
Selwyn (startled): My, my, Tharp... This poor little blue one seems to be crazy... or sick... or even amnesic!
Tharp (pitiful): THARP!
Selwyn (To Brainy): And what are you doing here alone? Don't you even remember that Gargamel the evil wizard might catch you at any moment?
Brainy: I know nothing about that certain Gargamel, sir; I just was told to find some gold to give him in exchange for his prisoners!
Selwyn: Prisoners? And are they Smurfs?
Brainy: I think so, good sir, since they had me told. They were a white-bearded one, a blond girl and another with a sour look!
Tharp (aghast): THARP!!
Selwyn: Yes, Tharp, Papa Smurf, Smurfette and Grouchy Smurf! (To Brainy) We must save them, but you need to be cured as soon as possible too!
Brainy: And what about the gold, nice sir?
Selwyn: We'll think about this later. Now we must get you back to normal! I'll send the Smurf village a message telling you are with me.
Tharp (agreeing): THARP!
Brainy: As you wish, dear good sir.
(Selwyn and Tharp leave the forest taking Brainy home.)

(Selwyn's wife sees him coming in and starts to complain.)
Tallulah: Ah,at last you're back! So did you think better about the little things you told me and came to apologize?
Selwyn (resigned): Please, Tallulah, not now!
There's something much more serious involving this little Smurf. I found him in the forest and he looks very disturbed, saying things with no sense and he also doesn't even remember who and what he is!
Brainy (addressing Tallulah): Very nice to meet you, dear good lady!
Tallulah: Thanks, little blue one. (To her husband) Was he alone?
Selwyn: Yes, there was no Smurf with him.
Tallulah: Poor little one!
Selwyn: I got some difficulty to know about what was doing there, and he told me he was looking for gold to give Gargamel!
Tallulah (surprised): Gargamel! But what for?
Selwyn: That nasty wizard captured Papa Smurf, Smurfette and Grouchy, so Brainy wanted to get some gold to release them!
Tallulah: Yes, but if we know Gargamel, he'll never let go of them anyway!
Selwyn: And that’s where we come in: we not only shall cure Brainy Smurf but we'll also help him save Papa Smurf and the others from his clutches!
Tallulah (enthusiastic): Great! Let's get to work right now.
Tharp (in a happy and supporting way): THARP!!
