Topic: Smurfs: The Handsome Genie

Plot: A handsome and self-centered genie becomes Clumsy's new best friend and causes trouble in the Smurf Village. At the end of the episode, he does them a favor by torturing Gargamel and Azrael as a redemption to the misdeeds he caused among the little blue creatures.
Rules:
1. Keep the dialogue family-friendly. Cursing is prohibited in this RP.
2. Everything must be written in television or movie script form. Narrative (third-person) form is not required.
3. We're focusing on the characters from Seasons 1 and 2 of the 1980s cartoon show, so nix on the later characters that came after these seasons. But don't worry, Clumsy Smurf is still the main focus.
4. Have fun!

Clumsy Smurf: Well, uh... I dunno! I was searchin' for garlic herbs an' all of a sudden, I came across a fancy-lookin' purple lamp! I had no idea where it came from, so I rubbed it followin' the instructions and... POP! Out came a handsome Genie!
Hefty Smurf: I see... But you should really get rid of that thing. He might be a bad influence on you.
Clumsy Smurf: Uh, are you sure? This genie's purty smurfy! I know I'm supposed to keep it a secret, but I'm no good at secret keepin'. (afraid) Golly, if Brainy sees me with that Genie, he'll blow his top!

Mr. Handsome Genie: I don't think that's necessary, I just want to be Clumsy's friend.
Clumsy: Aw, I think we can trust him, Hefty.

Hefty Smurf: (blushes) Uh... (angry) Stop tryin' to soften me up!
Handsome Genie: Oh, Hefty, sweetie. You are so cute when you're angry.

Hefty: Well if he finds out, he finds out. It's not my concern. I don't think you should be keeping this from him anyway. *he begins walking to Papa Smurf's house*

Handsome Genie: Never mind him, darling. Let's go play in the forest for a little while. Besides, it's not like we'll never see each other again.
Clumsy Smurf: (worried) Oh! That's what I'm afraid of...
Handsome Genie: Well? Come on!
The Handsome Genie walks off into the forest and Clumsy tags along with him. Fade to a view of Clumsy and the Handsome Genie resting on an oak tree.
Handsome Genie: Ah... This is much better... No naggy little friend of yours telling us what to do... Life doesn't get any better than this.

Clumsy Smurf: (gasps) Papa Smurf! The Smurfs!
Brainy Smurf: (about to lecture) Clumsy, Clumsy, Clumsy...
Handsome Genie: (mocks Brainy in a smug way) Brainy, Brainy... Bur-ainy.
Brainy Smurf: (shocked) Huh?
Handsome Genie: We were just talking about you. Being Papa Smurf's assistant and all, your glasses ooze high fashion to geniuses. But your voice screams "annoying", they make eardrums burn!
Smurfette: (whispers to Clumsy Smurf) Clumsy, who's your friend?

Clumsy: His name's Mr. Handsome Genie. He don't seem to like Brainy very much, huh?
Brainy: Annoying? ME?! Why how dare you! That is no way to talk to Papa Smurf's assistant, and second-in-command! I do agree on my glasses though, heh
Clumsy: Aw, Brainy, please don't be upset with me.
Mr. Handsome Genie: Yeah, it's not Clumsy's fault I'm a much better and more intelligent friend
Brainy: What? Clumsy, is he replacing me?
Papa: My little smurfs, please calm down. Now, Mr. Genie, Hefty has told me about what happened, and he is concerned that you may be a bad influence to Clumsy. Um, not to be prejudice, but we've had bad experiences with genies in the past.

Clumsy Smurf: Well, genies maybe a little negative. But this one is attached to me an' he likes me for who I am.
Handsome Genie: Ah... 'Tis true, kindly wise and intelligent Papa Smurf.
Clumsy Smurf: Can't ya'll just give him a chance?
Brainy Smurf: Oh, no, Clumsy Smurf! That thing is a menace! Surely, he may be handsome and all, but he's not so great. As Papa Smurf always says, "Every genie is a bad influence on every Smurf and they are not to be trusted at all". And furthermore...
The Handsome Genie is annoyed with Brainy's lecturing and tosses him out of sight with his magic.
Brainy Smurf: YIPE! (Brainy lands on his head) Don't blame it on yourself, blame it on the genie.
Cut back to Clumsy and the Handsome Genie.
Handsome Genie: (pats his hands) Know-it-all.
Clumsy Smurf: Aw, gee, Papa Smurf. Can't we teach him how to be nice? Why, no one's ever been nice to him before. All they ever do is toss him away for his crimes without giving him a second chance.

Fade to the next morning, showing an exterior view of Brainy Smurf's house. We cut to Brainy waking up from his bed, yawning. He puts on his glasses and is frightened when he sees his bedroom walls all painted lavender, the handsome Genie's favorite color. He runs out of his bedroom to see his entire home renovated with modern art-style objects in horror.
Handsome Genie: Good morning, Brainy!
Brainy Smurf: What have you done to my house?
Handsome Genie: I renovated the place a bit. Your old style is tacky and outdated. But now it looks better than ever, thanks to my skills of fashion design and trends that will make your body skyrocket.

*Clumsy walks in*
Clumsy: Good mornin' Brainy! Golly, you've redecorated your whole house!
Brainy: It wasn't me, your friend the genie did this, without my knowledge or consent.
Clumsy: That was nice of him!
Brainy looks angry
Clumsy: Oh, maybe we could do my house next!
Handsome Genie: Of course, Clumsy
Clumsy: Let's go! This'll be fun *laughs*
Clumsy and the Handsome Genie leave to decorate Clumsy's house
Brainy: That genie is becoming a real nuisance, just as I predicted! I wonder what he did with my old furniture?

Brainy looks out the back window to see the shocking result. His old furniture had been packed in crates.
Brainy Smurf: (gasps) PAPA SMURF! (runs off)
Fade to an interior of Smurfette's house, where Smurfette comes back inside from picking smurfberries. She spots the Handsome Genie doing the housework, mostly dusting her possesions.
Smurfette: Mr. Genie?
Handsome Genie: Hello, Smurfette. I've been taking care of your place while you were away. Recently, I've been dusting your lovely possessions. They are fabulous!

Handsome Genie: My pleasure. You certainly have better taste than most of the others in the village.
Smurfette: I'm glad that you appreciate my decorating. Most of the others just don't like pink so much.
Handsome Genie: And that's the problem with this village, they have no sense of style. Which is why I've been working to improve it. I've already redecorated a few houses and soon I will be working on new outfits for everyone. Won't that be nice?
