Brainy: *angrily moving his old furniture back into his house* The nerve of that genie! Papa Smurf is definitely going to hear about this!
-Meanwhile, Vanity and the Handsome Genie are discussing fashion-
Handsome Genie: I've been thinking, Vanity, those white hats and pants all the smurfs wear, they're so boring.
Vanity: Yes, I guess they can get boring. I've had the same thought myself, but Tailor is so finicky about the clothes he makes, he refuses to do anything differently.
Handsome Genie: Well, with me around, we don't need Tailor. I can make you all new clothes myself.

Handsome Genie (cont.): All lavender! All sparkle! With a magical snap! (snaps fingers, Vanity's hat and pants becomes the color of lavender and sparkles) But your pink flower... Don't ever change a thing! I like it!
Vanity Smurf looks in the mirror and is impressed with the new color.
Vanity: Heavens to Smurf! I am smurfingly impressed! The sparkles do hold a candle to my eyes.
Clumsy enters Vanity's house.
Clumsy Smurf: Uh, howdy, Vanity! Ain'tcha gonna-? WHOA! I'd never seen them kinda Smurf clothes before!
Brainy Smurf: You see that? He's even worse than Nosey Smurf!
Smurfette: Oh, come on, Brainy. He's not that bad, once you get to know him.
Hefty Smurf: Not that bad?! He asked me about my abdominals earlier today!
Brainy Smurf: (to Hefty Smurf) What? You knew about him, too?!

Hefty Smurf: That is none of your concern! And what does Nosey Smurf have to do with the Handsome Genie?

Lazy Smurf: (yawns as he enters) What's with all the yelling?

Jokey Smurf: This genie isn't getting any of my surprises!
Scaredy Smurf: B-b-boy, that's for sure! Why, one time, he showed me shadow puppets! I collapsed when I first saw them!
Sloppy Smurf: He even cleaned my house! And me! How can I be a Sloppy Smurf without mud to wallow in?!

Papa Smurf: (arrives) What's smurfing on?
Vanity Smurf: Oh, hello, Papa Smurf. Can you kindly tell the others to smurf off?
Hefty Smurf: Smurf off? We all want him to leave!
Smurfette: Oh, Hefty Smurf! How could you be so heartless?!
Hefty Smurf: It's called "tough love", Smurfette!
Brainy Smurf: Yeah! And we all have to get rid of this nuisance because Papa Smurf says...
Lazy Smurf: Smurf up, Brainy! You don't know anything about these sort of genies!
Clumsy Smurf: Uh, hey! I wanna say fight in' words too!
All the Smurfs rabbled on and on about who should keep the Genie or not. The Handsome Genie shakes his head left and right repeatedly until he tires out. Papa Smurf becomes increasingly irritated with the rabbling.
Papa Smurf: ENOUGH! What is the matter with you all? You ought to be ashamed! Bothering the poor Genie like that! Now, all of you run along and get to smurfing the dam!
All the Smurfs zip out of the scene to go fix the village dam.
Papa Smurf: I'm sorry about my little Smurfs, Mr. Genie. Sometimes, they can get a little overboard with their decisions.
Handsome Genie: My word. What do you suppose has gotten into them?

Papa Smurf: What I'm saying is that they are not used to having a helper around the village. They prefer to help each other and that is what they intend to do. But they will get used to you eventually.
