SmurfFan82874, a longtime member of BlueBuddies, passed away six years ago on this date.
Six years is a long time to go without saying goodbye. So today seems a good opportunity to remember our friend. And he was indeed a friend. SmurfFan82874 was a constant source of energy, help and inspiration for everyone who encountered him here on BlueBuddies.
He was a bit like a whirlwind - he set up a website on BlueBuddies - https://mybluehaven.BlueBuddies.com/ - and helped update the fan fiction message on SmurfBBS. He created his own Smurf characters, replied and contributed to the forum, but he was more than that - he was a source of positivity and warmth.
Outside of BlueBuddies SmurfFan82874 wrote music - including gospel songwriting and made professional recordings. He lent his hand to others, joining petitions and causes that would improve the world for disabled veterans and their caregivers.
SmurfFan82874's positivity was elevating - he inspired others, including myself, to do more.
Rest in Peace Troy Warren Pennie, you will be forever missed here by all your friends at BlueBuddies.
