How do we get permission to use Smurf images for our daughters invitation to a function in her girls youth group (JDI)? She also needs to print a "term book" (75 count) outlining her activities and calendar for 6 mos to distribute to other members and just loves Smurfs! She wants Smurfs to be her mascot and wants to print images in her book & on her invite without getting into trouble. Any suggestions as to get written permission to use images?

Well, I read it and well, since Bluebuddies is a fansite and not an official Smurfs Site (I'm no admin, but..), you can use some of the pictures from here, but o credit us when you use them, and as long as you don't make money, or profit from it ![[Wink]](wink.gif)

It would be best if you asked the artist before you use the images.

I agree with you, Smurfette. I'm a professional artist and graphic designer, and asking an artist for permission to use their work is just the smurfy thing to do, even if it's just for something like a kids' birthday party or a youth group.
@ Andernutz: All that said, if you are interested in using my Smurf fan art for your daughter's group, please let me know on this thread. All my work is in the Smurf Art Showcase and I primarily do cartoons of Smurfette and Vexy, the latter with brown hair instead of her original black hair as seen in "Smurfs 2" and "Smurfy Hollow".
