Chaps, I'm becoming rather concerned. I have the suspicion that I might be addicted to tea...

What kind of tea? Everybody addicted to tea in my country but it's Green Tea or Black Tea I'm talking about here so it can be a bad thing to addicted unless you drink it more than you drink water that can be a problem.

at least it's a healthy addiction. i've just recently given mine up cold turkey. that'll be coffee. it was staining my invisalign retainers a gold color. now i only get one on occasion if i'm out and about and craving it badly enough.

@ Animator Smurf: What has you concerned that you may be addicted to tea? I agree with Amy Sue that tea can actually be a good and healthy thing, but if it gets to the point where you want to stop but you can't, one has crossed the invisible line into addiction. One can become addicted to anything, not just alcohol or heroin.
Outside of BlueBuddies I am a longtime member of Al-Anon and grew up in a family of alcoholics and their enablers. I have had to cut myself off from several family members because they deny there is a problem and steadfastly refuse to change. So I know a little bit about addictions and what fuels them.
I hope I'm just overreacting to your post. As an Al-Anon member, I'm good at that. But if your tea addiction does concern you, admitting it with your fellow Smurfs on BlueBuddies is a good first step toward breaking it. ![[Smile]](smile.gif)
