Oh, and everyone! I just recently decided that I'm gonna change my character Chloette (which I clearly didn't put much thought into that name) into Prankette which the change of names will probably only make a difference in the role play form.

Hey guys, I just want to say that a great name in music died the day before Easter at age 78. His name was Phil Ramone and he was an amazing producer. He's worked to make music with big stars such as Ray Charles and Billy Joel. In the Elton John concert I went to the day of his death (see my form: http://bluebuddies.com/ubb/ultimatebb.php/topic/2/408.html#000001) Elton paid tribute to him by singing "Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me" dedicated to him.
Phil Ramone was an amazing man and will be greatly missed.

Yesterday Billy Joel finished preforming at Australia's STONE music festival. He was there with other artists like Van Halen and Aerosmith and this was his first full show in about three years. He says that he's just going to basically "Put his toe back in the water and see how preforming feels, and if I like how it goes I may start preforming more often." He's also going to be preforming at Jazz Fest here in New Orleans on April, 27th (and btw I'm still trying to beg my parents to take me even though I only have 4 days left I can't get a real answer from them.)

And also I'm sorry everyone if I keep mentioning the elton john concert a lot on here now. It's just that he puts on the best concerts ever and even though it's been almost a month I'm still happy about it!

Just as he has did with John Lennon 39 years ago, Elton has helped propel Fall Out Boy to the top position in the Billboard 200 albums chart. Save Rock and Roll, the new album by the Illinois group, has won the race for #1 on the American chart in its first week.
Featuring a guest duet vocal by Elton on its title track, the album has sold 154,000 copies in the US, according to Nielsen SoundScan. This makes it the third-biggest sales week ever for Fall Out Boy, who have released five albums since 2003.
Elton's vocals were recorded at Silent Sound Studios in Atlanta in March and were produced by Peter Asher and engineered by Matt Still.

I've noticed that I usually end up posting random things because I'm bored, and nobody's here because their either at school or in a different time zone than me and are still asleep. But I'm homeschooled so I'm able to come on here a lot.
