What's your biggest Smurf-related regret?
Mine is having my mom take me to the 2011 Smurfs movie. It really wasn't a good movie and I'm sorry she had to sit through it. I tried to make up for that by showing her The Lost Village. XD
Now it's your turn!

Believing that the SNES Smurfs was ever going to come to America after Nintendo Power did a multi-page spread about it. Still haven't really gotten over that publishing snub.

Buying the multiple-disc Smurfs cartoon show episode compilation from rather shady online retailers, given that the episodes were of varying quality and that it didn't include all the episodes, particularly the multi-part Smurf On The Wild Side, which was what I was after at the time after having bought The Wild Smurf comic book from Europe.

And there's the you-never-know-what-you're-going-to-get nature of buying foreign language Smurf comic books from Europe from Suzanne Lipschitz of the SCCI, which made me glad when such stuff ended up being sold on eBay and Amazon. Not really much of a regret, but it could have been done better.

I don't regret seeing the live-action Smurfs movie or its sequel. I think they are well done, although for number three in the series they should have just done a prequel set entirely in the Smurf Forest. That's the only primary issue I have with the live-action series, setting most of it outside of the Smurf Forest. The CGI Smurfs looked exactly how I would imagine them for the Empath: The Luckiest Smurf movie that I would create, as I believe that nothing less than that level of CGI is what I would have the Smurfs in my story series be depicted as. If you've read my series, you may have an understanding of why.
