I am a huge fan of Smurfs since I was a kid. I have started collecting the new line of somewhat poseable Smurfs. Does anyone know if Jakks is going to come out with a new wave of figures? I know they have pretty much covered all the regular smurfs from the early on cartoon. They even made Nanny/Granny and Grandpa Smurfs, but does anyone know if they are going to incorporate the smurflings in the line? I hope they make a Sassette.

The pictures help a lot, thanks for those. I have bought a lot of them off e-bay and have them displayed with my older PVC figures. I was just curious if anyone had any info of future smurf lines. They have already done a lot of characters and I am hoping they continue to do more like the Smurflings. I know they recently made a Clockwork Smurf also. So hopefully they do more. :-) If anyone has any info please reply. I am obsessed with smurfs hahaha.

I don't know if anyone is aware of this but Jakks recently released a Clockwork and Handy Smurf two-pack. They released a Handy Smurf earlier on in his white overalls in the line but this time he is wearing blue overalls and a normal smurf hat holding a saw. I bought it off e-bay from a foreign country. I don't know where it is available. Clockwork looks awesome. :-)
I do not know how to show a picture of this set otherwise I would.

Your little friends are sooooo cute! I absolutely love Clumsy! And I think that Hefty has a great pose!
Wow! That's really smurfy that you have almost all of the US Jakks Smurfs! Fingers crossed about getting the smurflings... wouldn't a Sassette figure be the best? teehee!
GreenDay, I also think the Skateboarder Smurf is a cool figure too! Don't you think Punk and Ruffete would like him? ![[Big Grin]](biggrin.gif)

I hope they make a Sassette figure!!! They have made almost all the Smurf characters from the cartoon series except the Smurflings. :-( They have re-made Smurfette and Papa Smurf...over and over....and over...again lol I wish they would make the Smurflings instead....Wouldn't that be awesome if they made a "Smurfling Four-Pack" like they have done with previous smurfs. I wish there were a way to find out if Jakks is going to continue to make figures and hopefully Snappy, Nat, Slouchy and of course Sassette will be those figures :-) They made Granny/Nanny Smurf and Baby Smurf...so I still have hope tehehe!

there are tons!!! some come with large playset houses...and others are really difficult to find unless you search hard on e-bay or other online stores in foreign countries...I never see smurf figures in my area made from Jakks...and I live in the states...

I love the Windmill figures...I have them! lol I got them off ebay from China. I hear the polly pocket style smurf sets are very hard to find though. I wonder why? It is like that with a lot of smurf products made by Jakks, at least in my area in the country. I think they are based out of California but their smurf products are more available over seas. Does anyone have any info on future figure lines? I am tired of all the Papa Smurf and Smurfette variations. I wish they would make the smurflings instead. :-)

I have all the two packs except Wild/Tracker and Papa/Tailor Smurf. I got lucky and didn't have to buy all the two packs from the first wave. There was a listing on E-Bay from a seller who had all the individual smurfs from Wave 1 that Jakks released as prizes. I don't know what kind of promotion they had going but they were in little individual bags like happy meal toys. So it was the same identical figures as Wave 1. I think I have almost all the figures from Wave 2 also. So it was a lot cheaper. The wave 3 line I just have Clockwork and Handy. I really wasn't interested in the other figures. I am tired of all the Smurfette and Papa figures lol. There are so many variations. I have the Bakers Set and the Picnik set because it offered variations of Brainy Smurf, Vanity, and Cook Smurf like their cartoon counterparts. I also was lucky enough to get the smurfette figures from the house playset and the Clumsy and Hefty figure from the windmill playset off of e-bay without having to pay the full store price of the big playsets. I am waiting and hoping they release the smurflings next then my cartoon main characters set will be complete. lol Did you notice in the Wave 1 how many of the smurfs had their eyes shut? or their eyes just weren't painted on? and how the other figures had white pupils in their eyes but the Wave 2 figures are just black dots. I wish they would have kept the figures consistent. I am nitpicky though. :-)

Teehee... I'm particular about the paint on my smurfs too! You should see me going through the Smurfs at Target to get the best painted set I can to add to my collection! The things we won't do to get cute smurfs! ![[Wink]](wink.gif)

I buy most of my smurfs off ebay, so it is difficult to be particular. The worst thing is to be excited about a smurfs arrival and then when you open the package you see how badly painted it is....that happened with Grandpa and Nanny Smurf...sigh....

Nat, it's interesting you mentioned Grandpa & Granny have less-than-perfect paint because I also noticed that my Grandpa & Granny have some of the worst paint jobs out of the bunch. Maybe it's the fact they they wear glasses? Perhaps it's harder to paint the eyeglasses accurately as opposed to just painting eyes.
Peazjelly, thanks for sharing the pic and link. At my Target, they didn't sell the bagged Jakks Smurfs for very long, yet they are still selling the two-packs. ![[Smurfette]](graemlins/smurfette.gif)
