I now have as part of my collection of Smurf videogames a copy of the Playstation Smurfs game, a legitimate copy of The Smurfs for the PAL-compatible Super Nintendo, and a copy of The Smurfs for the Game Gear. Still trying to find a copy of Revenge Of The Smurfs for the Gameboy Advance from someone on eBay.

I have the smurfs for SNES and GBA too.
Btw thanks for the (nice) comments on my youtube videos ;-)
I uploaded there a quick playthrough of all levels from these two games and some from the second SNES-smurf-game (my username: "zuiopp").
Have you already "finished" the games. I think especially the first version on SNES is very hard.

I already finished the SNES version on an emulator years ago, but I haven't finished the GBA version yet -- Gargamel's still a pain in the little blue tail to defeat! Right now I'm replaying the SNES version on the DS as well as the GBA version, though the GBA version isn't quite as fun when you can select the levels you want to play.

As for Smurfs 2...I still haven't gotten past the first world section.

Now I have a second copy of The Smurfs for SNES, this time with a box and instructions for it. Here's the images of both the front and back of the game box in English:

Some fake Smurf-related videogame labels I created using the Online Atari 2600 Label Maker. First off, we have the fictional game of Gnapp Attack :

Gnapp Attack!

And secondly, a game based on the much-maligned final season of the cartoon show:

The Smurfs Lost in the Ages

You did a great job...there are screenshots, pascodes and good descriptions.
It is my all time favorite smurf game.
It took me about two weeks to finish my fast video walkthrough that I uploaded on youtube.
How long did you work on your little Smurf SNES game website?

To mariosmurf: I don't have pictures for them yet, which is why they weren't mentioned. However, I did say that collecting 25 stars in the game will let you play a bonus level. When I get the pictures of the bonus levels, I will include them as well.

It took me at least a few days, maybe a bit more, to get the page to where it is now, including creating a fake U.S. game box design.

I have some screenshots of the two bonus levels that you can use, if you like.
The first one is after one collects the first 25 stars of the game - after the first boss fight with the plant. For the second one (after act 10) one have to collect only all stars from the two levels of act 10.

The good news is:
I got a PAL-compatible SNES from somebody on eBay that just came in today.

The bad news is:
I don't have a compatible power adapter for this thing yet, so I can't tell whether it works or not.

Guess I'm going to have to wait on the possibility of ever playing SNES Smurfs on an actual SNES system.

Present news:

I got a UK-compatible power supply plus a step-up/down transformer adapter for my PAL-compatible SNES, so at least the system powers up. Unfortunately, I can't get an image to display on my flatscreen TV even with the rather cheap PAL-to-NTSC signal converter that I bought from eBay. So that puts my plan of playing SNES Smurfs on an actual system on hold again.

Then again, I also got my hands on both a functional Gamecube and a Gameboy Player adapter for that system, so at the very least I can play the Gameboy Advance Smurfs game on my TV.

Anybody heard of the Retro Duo? It's another new game system that, like the FC Twin before it, is a NES/SNES dual-compatible game system. However, unlike the FC Twin, the Retro Duo is supposedly compatible not only with both U.S. and Japanese SNES (Super Famicom) games, but also with European (PAL-compatible) SNES games.

However, if you've heard of this system and you're thinking of getting it so you can play the PAL-compatible SNES Smurfs games on it, BEWARE!!! I plugged my copy of the game into the system...it gave me the Smurfs copyright information screen, then it gave me the language select screen, then it gave me the Infogrames logo screen, and then...it gave me a message that it's ONLY FOR PAL-COMPATIBLE SYSTEMS!!! Great, just what we really need...thank you very much, Infogrames! As Grouchy would say...

I have the Smurfs game for the Game Boy and the first Playstation.

I don't do really well on them, though. [Frown]

Same thing with the FC Twin, which I bought previously to my other SNES-compatible systems. This time I used a slightly-modified Game Genie as a bridge to connect the SNES Smurfs game to it, and it leads me through the same three screens up to the "only for PAL-compatible systems" message. Avoid both systems!

One of my recent acquisitions is a boxed version of the 2600 Smurfs videogame. The box is in good condition, with a few crease and tear lines here and there. The banner says "Video cartridge for use with ATARI 2600 VCS and Sears Video Arcade". I've got pictures of the front and back of the box on my Smurfs Videogames page of my website.

Another acquisition is supposedly a Windows PC-compatible version of the Smurfs videogame that I got from a seller on eBay that turned out to actually be a copy of the Genesis emulator called Fusion with a bunch of Genesis-compatible games, including its version of the Smurfs videogame.

Yesterday I was furiously bidding at the last minute for a handful of Windows PC-compatible Smurf computer programs (including a legitimate version of The Smurfs videogame for Windows PC) that somebody in Germany had posted on eBay for several days. Unfortunately, I got outbid by somebody who ended up snagging the whole deal for about 10 euros. Oh well, maybe someday...
