When I see red when it comes to love, I see the crimson flow of Jesus being poured out for my sins. As He said, "greater love has no one than this, that one should give their life for one's friends." BTW, this Valentine's Day also coincides with Ash Wednesday, which should say something about what the day should really be about.

I ended up creating a very anti-Valentine Empath: The Luckiest Smurf fanfiction story "The Other Smurfette", which was supposed to be a light story that is like a combination of "The Smurfette" and "The Fake Smurf", but gets dark halfway through with some adult elements in it. Best not to read it if that turns you off.

Nice job, Squeaky Smurf! If Smurfette had been in the King Smurf story, maybe she could have softened his heart a bit. Did you make the gif with Cupid Smurf you posted earlier in this thread? It's really cute!

You're quite right, King Smurf would become smurfy nicer with a Queen Smurfette by her side. And the Cupid Smurf animation was found by chance on Google, and it's so adorable that I realized to post it here.
