First of all I wanted to say hello to everyone - this is my first visit to this site!
A few friends and I are doing a Special Olympics fundraiser in which we are all jumping into the freezing cold Massachusetts ocean on February 12th dressed as SMURFS!! We are trying to find the easiest way for us to all dress up as smurfs, our costumes need to be pretty versatile since we are jumping into the ocean in the cold, and we have to get undressed very quickly and change into something else smurfy for the party afterwards, Does anyone have any good ideas?
If we do body paint it needs to not come off in the water or on contact without being too expensive. So far we have found this. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you so much for the help!!!
We actually decided to use that Latex paint to turn ourselves blue. It should be an intresting day for us! We also decided to rent a big blue van and we are duct taping sheets to it with our Smurf's Up team name and we are going to make our own smurf-mobile. We are going a little crazy with the Smurf theme so things should be really fun...

Yeah 1000 miles is a bit much. : ) Donations through Special Olympics would be greatly appreciated. Donate right through the site or there is a form that you can print out on the page as well that you can mail in yourself either way will work. Also if there is anyone else is in the area and wants to join the team or just be a spectator contact me and I will fill you in on all the details. It's going to be a blast.
This really is a great cause and I can't wait to do it. I have been in contact with a few athletes from the Special Olympics since I signed up and it really is wonderful how appreciative and happy they are about all these people helping them out. It's really nice to see how much they enjoy being part of Special Olympics, it's family to a lot of them.
And keep your fingers crossed were hoping our costumes will help us win the costume contest, that would be great. We are going all out for it hopefully our hard work will be noticed and we can maybe get our 5 seconds of fame and end up on the local news or something...

Thanks, that is really sweet of you!!!
I'm starting to get nervous we just had a big blizzard, I'm hoping that we wont have to wrestle with that on Feb 12th, that will not be so fun...!! Keep your fingers crossed for decent weather.
