(Azrael, who had understood nothing at all, realizes to follow Brainy-Gargamel, who notices its attitude and stops.)
Brainy-Gargamel (thinking): "Drats! I had forgotten this could happen: Azrael thinks that I'm a true Smurf and shall try to attack me now!"(To the cat) Stop walking after me, you dirty fleabag! SHOO! I'm Gargamel, your master!
Azrael (licking its chops): MROWRRRRRR!
Brainy-Gargamel (impatient): Are you deaf, you stupid furball? GO AWAY! SCRAM! Or else you’ll ruin everything!
(Azrael doesn't care and snarls even more menacingly. Seeing that, the fake Brainy gulps and backs off, frightened.)
Brainy-Gargamel: I'M GARGAMEL, YOU DUMB CAT! GAR-GA-MEL!! (thinking) "It's no use! All I have to do now is run away to the forest. Maybe I'm lucky enough to find some Smurfs there!"
(He starts to run as fast as he could, with Azrael at his heels.)

(Indeed, there was some Smurfs in the forest looking for Brainy, but they find no signal of him.)
Smurfette (anguished): Oh, who could have ever smurfed to Brainy?
Clumsy (same): I'm afraid he's smurfed far away from here!
Hefty: Nonsense, Clumsy! He must be hidden either in one of those bushes... or up a tree... or else...
Grouchy: I HATE "Eithers", "Ors" and "Or elses"!
Handy: Hmmm, here's a good point, Hefty. (Turning to Greedy, who had come with them and at the moment was relishing the blueberries from a bush nearby.) Greedy, stop eating for a while and go see whether Brainy is inside this bush!
Greedy (upset for being interrupted): If he really was, I'd have seen...
(The talk was broken up abruptly by some loud shouts coming from the opposite part of the forest. They turn around and see the fake Brainy pursued by Azrael.)
Brainy(-Gargamel): SMUUURFS! HELP! AZRAEL WANTS TO GET ME!! HEEEEEELP!
Grouchy: I HATE Azrael!
Smurfette (with her hands on her cheeks): My smurfness! BRAINY!
Handy: Over here, Brainy, OVER HERE!
Brainy-Gargamel (thinking while running towards them): "Lucky me that I have seen those nasty Smurfs from afar! Now it shall quite easy getting to their village."
Hefty (teasing Azrael): Try to smurf us if you can, you foolish cat!

(The bewitched Smurf stands up and breathes deeply.)
Gargamel-Brainy: My, such a scare... (opening his eyes wide) Oh, wait! I remember now! Gargamel smurfed our bodies through his magic and now I've got his!
(Anguished) What now? I can't smurf back to the village looking like this... what must I smurf? The worst thing is that Papa Smurf can't help me this time!
(He falls sadly silent for a long time, but realizes to talk to himself.)
Calm down, Brainy, calm down! Don't smurf into a panic. Let's smurfalyze the situation more coldly... After all, being Papa Smurf's assistant and very intelligent indeed, you can be smurfsure you'll find a solution!
(He keeps quiet and thinking for almost twenty minutes, until his face got illuminated and at last he started to shout happily.)
I GOT IT! I GOT IT! (pause) Why didn't I smurfed of this before?
Since I'm in Gargamel's body now, I can smurf advantage of this situation smurfing his books to find an antidote to unchange our shapes! (He smiles wryly while taking some books.) Ah, Gargamel, you'll never know what smurfed you! This time, you really messed with the wrong Smurf!
