Smurfette: (points over to a nightclub) How about we go listen to a few tunes in that strange building over there?

Papa: Very well, my little Smurfs, but please stay together, this is a very big land.
*but not too far from where the Smurfs are, a descendant of Gargamel’s, Gargensole, appears to be plotting something*
Gargensole: Oh what’s the use?! Everyone in this big city looks at me like I’m a laughingstock! I must-*sees the Smurfs wandering the streets* Well, what’s this I see? Little blue creatures?
*Handy turns around but only gets a quick glimpse of Gargensole before he disappears* *gasps* Gargamel? *he taps Papa Smurf’s shoulder* Papa Smurf.

Papa Smurf: Yes, Handy?
Handy: I think this guy looks like Gargamel.
Papa Smurf: Another descendant of Gargamel?
Handy: Just listen...
Gargensole: (as the other Smurfs listened) These creatures remind me of the blue mustached imp who put my classical compositions to rest. The one who likes, ugh - jazz.
Papa Smurf: (turns to the other Smurfs) My little Smurfs, I think we've just smurfed a descendant of ours.
Brainy Smurf: How do we know?

As Jokey went inside the club, he saw a Smurf who has similar features to Cab Calloway. He even conducts jazz music in a similar style to Calloway.

Jokey: Papa Smurf! You were right! There is a descendant of ours!
So, Papa Smurf went in and saw what Jokey just saw: a Smurf version of famous Jazz singer and musician Cab Calloway.

Papa Smurf: (annoyed) Ahem!
Sam Smurfoway: Oh. (to his band members) Take five, boys! Someone's here to see us!
Smurfoway's jazz orchestra stops. Smurfoway turns to Papa Smurf and the other Smurfs.
Sam Smurfoway: (to Papa Smurf) I'm sorry, what?
Papa Smurf: Perhaps we haven't met. I'm Papa Smurf and these are my Smurfs.
Cut to a view of the other Smurfs.
Clumsy: Uh, howdy!
Hefty: Smurfy to see ya!
Brainy: Nice to smurf a familiar face, I always say! Smurfo y smurfo!
Grouchy: I HATE greetings!
Cut back to Papa Smurf and Smurfoway.
Papa Smurf: Uh... as I was saying... I just need to know what your name is and what type of music you play.

Sam Smurfoway: A type of music different from the classical stuff of your time. You see, we improvise from the set of rules and parameters with our own unique flair. Jazz music has hot rhythm, while classical is just subtle and sweet sounding.

Grouchy: I HATE smurfing!
Sam Smurfoway: I can see this Smurf has attitude.
Papa Smurf: His name is Grouchy. He hates almost everything. You'll get used to it.
Grouchy: I HATE reminders!
Both Papa and Smurfoway just stood there and watched Grouchy storm away.
Smurfette: Smurfoway, why did you put Gargensole out of business?
Sam Smurfoway: Because his classical music was getting tiresome for patrons at this point. So, I put the rhythm in to make them feel good.
Brainy: And why is that?
Sam Smurfoway: Because I'm your Papa Smurf's young descendant.
Smurfs: (gasp in unison)
Papa Smurf: Name one thing learned from me.
Sam Smurfoway: I know about the Smurfs' magic spellbook.
Papa Smurf: Great Smurfs, he is my descendant!
