The smurfs were no longer 100 years old but 200. Meaning well they were not really teen acting like smurfs. The lost smurfettes had moved in with the smurfs when there village was destroyed by gargamel.Times were finally different and love was in the air.

(Ariel works in the lab with Papa Smurf, Smurfette and Brainy... Trying to unlock the secrets of the Smurf's world... But it is becoming a bit difficult for them to focus, due to the increased sense of self consciousness and anxiety between two certain Smurfs, Ariel and Brainy, of course)

(The two smurfs join Smurfette and get back to work... But as they are toiling away, their minds are more concerned with something else...)
Ariel (thinking) : Did he really call me that? Could he really be feeling the same for me as I feel for him?
Brainy (thinking) : I can't believe that I smurfed that out loud! I can't risk another mistake like that!
Ariel and Brainy (thinking) : I have to say it... But how?
Smurfette: You guys! Watch what you are smurfing!
(Ariel and Brainy look around and realize that they have been spilling chemicals everywhere)

Ariel and Brainy: I got it!
(they both jump to their feet and race towards the sink... They unknowingly reach for the same sponge... Their hands touch and for a split second, they lock eyes... Suddenly Ariel's magic gives Brainy a small shock and Ariel takes the sponge and snatches her hand away in one second, blushing as red as Papa Smurf's hat)
