When I was in my teens, my depression was so bad that I tried to commit suicide. My depression is still bad, but I've taking medicine to help me.

I couldn't post a reply so I restarted with the last message. I, too, have bouts of depression, but not bad enough to need meds. My depression started in my teens, but only lasts most of a day to a week or so. Being disabled, wheelchair bound and having to rely on others even to scratch an itch probably has alot to do with it. When I get my depressed times, I find it helps me just to keep busy, keep my mind off things. For some reason the Care Bears Movie seems to help me. And spending time playing World of Warcraft and Starcraft. In fact I've been struggling with depression the last couple weeks. Then I went to the Smurfs movie in 3D and found Blue Buddies! Now I'm climbing out of my dpepression spell, lol. That last time I was very depressed was after seeing Avatar in the theater. Man, it'd be great to have an all new body where everything works and I could run, let alone walk again. lol I also find comfort in my faith in God, too.
