I have been fighting with depression ever since I was a late teenager. If you have depression, how do you cope with it ? I like listening to music.

thats what i do just listen to music or draw or something you really like to do helps

Me too, or then I go out to either seeing an art exhibition or the movies (sure, to watch preferentially one that doesn't make me worse), for example.

Hi Cool Smurf,
When I need to cheer myself up I watch someting really fun. There are some great go-to movies and tv shows out there that always bring a smile to my face: The Iron Giant, Studio Ghibli movies like Howl's Moving Castle, Alfred Hitchcock and even funny stuff like Ed Wood, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Planes Trains and Automobiles and Home Alone. Dramas I like that are very engrossing are Battlestar Galactica, Caprica, and that noirish looking Batman cartoon from the 90s. Some good TV shows to get a laugh are Arrested Development and Fawlty Towers. I also listen to online radio, sometimes music but sometimes some of the old time radio shows and comedies from the 1940s (I'm weird like that).
Do you have a game you like to play?? I used to Play Halo on the PC all the time and that was very relaxing for me, there was this mode called RACE and you'd race around at high speed it was lots of fun.
You might try drawing or writing, we all love seeing your work, myself especially. Always loved the Smurf pics but the Simpsons pics you posted here in Off-Topic are awesome too!!!

Just remember that you have a smurfy group of buddies that care about you here at BlueBuddies! So when you're feeling "blue", smurf on over here for a visit!
Try to do a little something that makes you smile... create a new drawing, listen to your favorite upbeat song, watch a funny video, or do something completely silly just for the sake of being silly!

Thanks, everyone!
When I was in my teens, my depression was so bad that I tried to commit suicide. My depression is still bad, but I've taking medicine to help me.
