Which means white lives, asian lives, "blue" lives- and guess what? Black lives. Black Lives Matter is not an organisation, it is simply a statement.
"People deserve to live." This isn't a controversial statement-
"Black people deserve to live." -but this somehow is.
The thing is... black people haven't been allowed to live. It may be true that black people kill the most other black people, but if you look at the amount of people killed by police (which uh. are supposed to protect people) it's disproportionately black people who are killed. George Floyd said that he couldn't breathe. He said he couldn't breathe, and they killed him.
George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, so many others, killed. And for what? Us white people don't even give them the time of day. At best, people pay lip service to their deaths, and the cops who murdered people don't even get charged. Even if it wasn't intentional, that's still manslaughter. That's still a crime.
The Smurfs promote caring for other people. Let's sit down here, okay? Just sit down and imagine with me, pretend I never brought up black lives mattering.
Imagine, if you will, that Wartmongers and Pussywillow Pixies are living together. I feel like that's the best comparison- seeing as the Wartmongers kept Pixies as slaves.
So. King Bullrush is still in charge, and many pixies are getting their wings cut off every day. But when they try to complain, the Wartmongers (who make up the majority) say- oh, you're exaggerating. Or oh, you pixies hurt each other, too, so the fact that the Wartmongers in charge are doing this isn't important.
Would you blame the pixies if they started protesting? Would you blame them if they started rioting? Would you think that a pixie's life did not matter?
Of course, you wouldn't blame them. You would be fully in support of a pixie's life mattering. But take a moment to look at the skin color of the Pussywillow Pixies and ask yourself- why? Why is it that black people in real life can be killed on the daily by those in charge and people don't care, but when it's a threat to white fictional characters it's much more important?
Papa Smurf would be very, very, VERY ashamed of you.
P.S. Antifa means Anti Fascism. AGAINST Fascism. Do you guys not have basic reading comprehension?
