Buffalo has had about five blackouts over night. All of the New York State has had around 80000 blackouts all over. Probobly like 60000 are in Long Island, witch is flooded as it was already below sea level, I feel bad for people in there. On the news looking at the people with announcements they're all basically getting swept away. One man nearly had to swim ashore. Buffalo is not flooded just heavy rains and blackouts. No school in many areas. Mine included. I feel bad for those people in New York City, New Jersey, Maryland, Washington, D.C., and many other places.

Yeah, I also heard the rain on Canada is coming from the hurricane too!

Glad to know your okay Sportette! And also, while we're on the topic of hurricanes I hope if any of you were in hurricane Issac, that you all were as fortunate as I was and are okay.

Yea, sorry to necro post on this topic, but since I live like north of Toronto and that area had effects of this hurricane, here's what happened: we got a whole lot of rain, no blackouts where I am, we had high winds, One woman was killed after being hit by a Staples sign, in the west end of Toronto. The sign flew off and hit her in the head. Power was out to a few thousand, but I was lucky, the Streetcar system was messed up.
