One of the days we were there, my aunt wore a shirt with Brainy Smurf on it and it said 'Geek is the new Chic' My grandmother's been saying that my aunt used to be a big fan of the smurfs, so I guess that's why she was wearing it. ![[Wink]](wink.gif)

Thanks Stormy, and I hope you can get an owl. My nanny loves owls, I'm just curious, what kind of owl do you want, or do you not know?

i'm not sure yet truthfully i don't know a whole lot about them and they all are so beautiful... one thing i think i would have trouble with is feeding them live prey... i understand them hunting and catching prey they have to to survive but for me to have to do it for them... i mean when i cook for my family and friends the rule is that i only cook something that's already dead... i have one friend who wants to bring me a live lobster and have me cook it up for him and i just can't imagine dropping a living thing into boiling water... i don't know for sure yet that i could handle getting my hands on live prey knowing i'm taking it to it's death knowing that it's because of me that it's gonna die... i'm kinda wussy :-D i think i can get over that though. in the meantime, i'm starting to study the different types of owls and also looking into getting a license that will allow me to have them from time to time at least temporarily like if they're sick or injured and need cared for while they recover because from what i'm finding out it seems it's illegal here in the US to have them as pets :-(

Wow! My nanny loves owls two, with over 100 ordainments, pictures and figurines in her home! P.S A pet owl would be a smurftastic pet! Might need a big house?

This is creepy, your Nanny sounds just like mine Smurfette! She has so many owl earrings, shirts, figurines, pictures, and lots of other stuff. This is kinda funny, in a way.
