Down here in Louisiana it would be a miracle if this week had snow. It has been constantly changing from (what we call) cold weather and hot weather with a lot of rain mixed in. It hasn't been that bad though. I just got back a couple of hours ago from my Gigi and Nanny's house. I got to see my cousin and her 2 year old granddaughter Aubree (I think that's how it's spelled, Aubree's never showed me). I've been away for all weekend plus I went there after school on Friday.
Also my Gigi and Nanny got a pool! It was finished recently. ![[Big Grin]](biggrin.gif)

I sooooo wish we got snow, but for the first time ever, early last year (NZ winter) We had Snow (for a few seconds), actually, it was more like a few seconds of falling white ice, but I sooooooo wish we had snow!

We got snow in winter of 2010. We get it occasionally.

Oh, I just looked up a map. I just noticed that it is kind of strange because where I am is closer to the equator.

Ha ha ha! look at how small we are! Sadly though, people are 'put-off' coming here because we 'have cold weather' but that's not true! But we are close to Antarctica! But this place is pretty! Green too, here I'll post a picture!

That's cool Smurfette. Louisiana has some history pretty cool history too. The Louisiana Purchase can be found in almost all U.S. Social Studies books (not sure 'bout other countries). It's pretty cool that U.S. only wanted New Orleans (my hometown) because of the Mississippi River. I just hope they didn't come in the Summer cuz that's hurricane season. It starts July 1st.

We're in a bad spot when it comes to Hurricanes. We are right by the gulf of mexico and in Hurricane season the gulf gets hot and that strengthens the hurricanes as they pass over it and then it slowly dies when it hits land.

The funny thing is that for Hurricane Katrina my sister and I were too young to know what was actually going on. We thought it was a vacation. Now I know how horrible it really was.

I evacuated going somewhere else (I'll ask my mom where). Apparently my Aunt and Uncle thought it was just going to be a false alarm (Along with hundreds of other people) and left their cat Tigger at their home with some food thinking they were going to come right back and that lucky cat survived about a month of having no caretaker.

It's very hot in Thailand right now.
It's hovers around 84-96F during this summer
season.
I can't help but to staying in my house all day!
I just checked San Francisco weather forecast looked
to be very lovely 48-73F!
I wished I can go to SF again like I did back in 2010!
