Breaking News Flash! Polar Bears are Drowing at sea! Jokey Smurf22 will tell you more.
Jokey22: Yes, sadly it is true. Polar Bears are drowning. I am trying to raise awareness for the polar bears and this is why:
Imagine having to risk your life and swim hundreds of miles, just to find your next meal.
Sadly, that’s what polar bears have to do as they fight to survive in today’s warming world.
Climate Change is melting the icy habitat beneath the polar bears paws. As a result, they’re being forced to endure long distance swims — some more than 400 miles and 12 days long — just to find sea ice or land.
Tragically, five out of eleven polar bear cubs aren’t surviving these marathon swims. In fact, the death rate of these cubs was two-and-a-half times greater than cubs that weren't forced to swim long distances. We have to act fast!

The Polar Bear Still Have A Chance
Scientists are now predicting that two-thirds of the world’s polar bears — including all of Alaska’s — will disappear in the next 40 years. If we don’t act now, future generations could grow up in a world without these incredible animals!
That’s why they urgently need your help. National Wildlife Federation is combating climate change by fighting to keep the Clean Air Act strong. We have to limit carbon pollution and protect wildlife habitats in order to help species like the polar bear survive.
But our efforts will only succeed with support from people like you.
I truly believe that there is still hope for polar bears living in the Arctic. But only if we work together now. Lots of people are working hard for these creatures and I hope you are too. Here is a way to imagine what the polar bears feel like. Imagine that you are an animal that is in danger of becoming extinct (like the polar bears), and there is one type of creature that can help you (like humans), but the creatures think “Since isn’t me who is suffering why help the ones who are suffering because it’s just a waste of money”, and they don’t do anything about it. That is similar to how the polar bears feel. Some people are thinking that it is a waste of time and money to try to help the polar bears. I hope that anyone who reads this doesn’t think that about helping these poor species. There is a chance for the polar bears, and the polar bears are counting on us to give them that chance. Their lives depend on us and I think we should help them, if we only work together to save this amazing species.

The Smurf Army of Runescape was founded on January 21, 2002...and only 2 weeks after we created this website, we have recruited over 100 additional members ! Now comes the hard part though ... managing this constantly growing force and keeping everyone happy. In our attempt to do so, we will be announcing a few individuals that will assist us in this task ... and we would appreciate everyone giving them the same courtesy, patience, and respect that you all have given us. Thanks for warining me Smurfette, apparently the people at Wikipedia are going on strike. And about the Polar Bears, I'll do as much as I can to help, and you'll be pleased to know that at Christmas, my Half-brother Jay got a Polar Bear Adoption Pack, so he can adopt a Polar Bear!!! I got a Meerkat adoption Pack which is good because Meerkats are HACKIN' AWESOME!!!

Just to clear up any confusion that may occur. I am Jokey Smurf22 except when I tried to change back from Riddle Smurf it said that the name Jokey Smurf22 was reserved for another member. So I had to make it Jokey Smurf222, but you can still call me Jokey.
