Hello this is Greedette reporting about Smurfs 2!
I learned i little more about it so here is a article.
Smurfs 2 Movie - The Smurfs sequelThere's a sequel to the Smurfs in the works. Sony has indeed announced that The Smurfs 2 has been greenlit. The first Smurfs movie was released only a few mounths ago, but it has already grossed more than $135 million, recouping its $110 million production budget. And since the theatrical run isn't even over yet and taking merchandising and later DVD releases into account, one can understand why Sony wants to keep milking the property and develop a franchise around the Smurfs.
The plot of the Smurfs 2 hasn't been revealed yet. No word if the original cast will return. We just have a release date: the Smurfs 2 will hit theaters on August 2, 2013 (Sony wisely chose another summer day).

Hello i learned a little more about smurfs 2!
With more than $135 million already in the bank, Sony is working on a sequel to The Smurfs. The studio isn’t wasting any time, announcing today that Smurfs 2 will be released on Aug. 2, 2013. Jordan Kerner will produce.
Despite scathing reviews, Smurfs opened domestically to $35.6 million and has earned more than $75 million in its first 10 days.
