I like "Patience" and "Don't Cry" from Guns N Roses. Also, "Happy Together", "It Ain't Me, Babe", "She'd Rather Be With Me", and "You Baby" from the '60s band, the Turtles.
One of my favorites from Jazz Fusion band Caldera. You can visit my channel on youtube username: brainysnaeha

Nice, the first two tracks from Caldera's Time and Chance from 1978! Some pretty awesome stuff you got! I noticed something funny that all of Caldera's albums were exactly released every year in January 1st from 1976-1979, and all recorded in December to January!!
By the way, I'm listening to "Ghost Train" by the Stranglers from their eleventh album, Dreamtime.

Does anyone wanna hear Ghost Train? It's appropriate for all ages, just like My Dog's A Cat.

Bored, so I'm listening to some stuff by synth punk band The Screamers. I'm listening to songs like Why The World, Magazine Love, Eva Braun, 122 Hours Of Fear and many more! Some songs by them are of fearful content, violent content, and a few have cuss words in it.
If you want me to show some Screamers to you, I'll give you the stuff without the swearing and maybe some of the slight fearful and violent stuff as the off-topic forum is PG rated as said by Papa Smurf. I do love this band though and their songs either way, definitely my favorite Californian punk band of the 1970s.

Nice. My favourite part of Katy Perry is her Smurfette efforts. I'm actually quite surprised this thread suddenly came out of the grave, if you know what I mean.

Today, I am listening to even more punk rock/new wave/rock and roll bootlegs from the 1970s and 1980s I've collected from various blogspots and the guitars101 forum.

I have a leaning toward the following artists:
Mediaeval Baebes - chansons from the middle ages, in English Blackmore's Night Faun and Qntal
Dan Newton's Cafe Accordion Orchestra - French Cafe Music
Orchestral/Classical Metal by Hammerfall and Rhapsody
Gregorian Chant and music from the cloisters of Taize a French Monastery in Saint Remy.
Really it depends on my mood what genre of music I listen to. Sometimes I want something like trance, sometimes pop, or sometimes I just want something mellow. When creating I prefer to listen to Soundtracks from films like Gladiator, Lord of the Rings, etc.

My parents really like 80s music so I'm a big 80s girl. My older sister thinks it's weird that I know all of the lyrics to the song Take on Me and not just the chorus. Does anyone else know all the lyrics?

I'm more of a Pop, blues, and soft rock type of person. I've grown up listening to hits from the 80s, and my older step sister finds it weird that I know all the lyrics to a song called "Take on Me," a song of which she describes as one of those songs that you're supposed to say 'Wow that's a cool chorus!' or only know the chorus.
