I have a PVC smurf attached to a parachute. These were a specific promotion in the UK by BP. The smurfs were dropped from a plane by the parachute team the "Red Devils" at an airshow (around the late 80's). The smurfs dropped to the ground, and if you found one you kept the smurf plus the petrol voucher attached. I do not think they were ever sold.

Can anybody tell me how many of these smurfs were made? Any info on value?

Hi, I am afraid I have never heard of these smurfs although they sound interesting. What a great promotion. Do you have a photo, I would love to know more as well. I live in the UK and unfortunately have never heard of these smurfs before.
