Smurf Life is the follow-up to Beeline's blockbuster hit Smurfs’ Village. Set in the same universe of Smurfs’ Village, Smurf Life lets players build and customize a new Smurf hero to combat a storm spell created by the evil wizard Gargamel. By combing the village for resources and crafting tools and potions players will be able to rescue trapped Smurfs and heal the village.
Overview:
Playing as a Smurf, you guide the village’s development, placing houses, crafting stations, and decorations from Papa Smurf’s blueprint book. You’ll gather resources like wood, clay, and berries to complete building projects and village expansions. The game features familiar Smurfs like Smurfette, Brainy, and Clumsy, each with their own personalities and roles in the village. Regular character interactions unlock new content and quests. Key features include crafting items at stations like Greedy’s Bakery or Painter’s Studio, managing resources to keep the village running, and completing daily quests for rewards. The game emphasizes a relaxed, creative experience with a focus on building a thriving community and offers a variety of decorative options to personalize your Smurf village.
The premium in-game currency is called Moondust, and the regular coins are called Trade Tokens.
Gameplay revolves around RPG-style fetch quests, minus the combat. Villagers assign quests that require gathering resources and crafting. For example, crafting a Wooden Mallet involves acquiring two pieces of Wood and performing two crafting actions. This process, especially early on, can be tedious due to wait times and the initial absence of a crafting queue (requiring Moondust to unlock). However, navigation is simplified by a golden dust trail leading to objectives, and automated routes can be set for your Smurf. While you can bypass crafting with Trade Tokens, this quickly drains your currency.
The Main Game:
Create Your Own Smurf
In Smurf Life, players create and control their very own Smurf. The game provides personalized Smurf customization through the Tailor Shop, where players can buy clothing. The shop’s selection refreshes daily, offering new choices and incentivizing players to check in regularly. Players can use Moondust and Trade Tokens to purchase these clothing items.
Your Smurf Hut
Beyond personalizing their Smurf, players in Smurf Life receive a customizable hut. They begin with a basic dwelling, which they can transform using decorative wallpapers, floor tiles, and a range of furniture. As the game progresses, players can enlarge their hut’s footprint, adding additional rooms and floors to significantly expand their living space. Each of these added areas can, in turn, be further expanded to increase their size and capacity for further interior decorating. The game assesses the hut’s aesthetics daily, providing a rating that incentivizes players to continuously craft or acquire new decorations, thus improving their overall score.
The Town Center
The town center in Smurf Life serves as a central hub for commerce and interaction. Here, players can connect with important Smurf characters, purchase essential supplies needed for crafting and construction, and browse a selection of cosmetic items, including paints for recoloring in-game objects and clothing for personalizing their Smurf.

Crafting lies at the heart of Smurf Life, serving as the primary means to progress, fulfill quests, and unlock the game’s vast potential.
Rescue Trapped Smurfs
Smurf Life starts with a rescue mission: finding and freeing key Smurfs. Players accomplish this by crafting specific items. As a reward for their efforts, the rescued Smurf teaches the player new recipes, significantly boosting their crafting skills.
Crafting Training
Each specialty Smurf you free serves as a crafting trainer. They not only provide new recipes but also guide players through the creation process for the first time using a recipe discovery system.
Crafting Station
Crafting involves using recipes at designated crafting stations. Each recipe demands a specific combination and quantity of ingredients. Early recipes are straightforward, producing basic components that serve as building blocks for more complex items later in the crafting tree.
Crafting Queue
Smurf Life utilizes a real-time crafting system where each item has a specific crafting duration, this mechanic encourages players to frequently check back and retrieve their items. Players can also invest in additional queue slots, enabling them to craft multiple items in parallel for a more efficient production process.
Recipe Mastery System
The game features a recipe mastery system that rewards repeated crafting. By crafting a recipe multiple times, players earn stars. Each star unlocks a valuable bonus, such as reduced crafting time, lower ingredient costs, or increased item output, making crafting more efficient and rewarding.
Decide What to Craft
Crafting does more than just finish quests! Use your crafted items to accomplish goals. Use them as tools to solve problems, overcome obstacles, and tailor your approach to each game session. Every crafting choice matters!

Smurf Life Walkthrough:
Smurf Village Destroyed
Smurf Village is in ruins! Gargamel’s spell and an amulet-fueled storm have left several Smurfs trapped under rubble. Your mission: rescue them and rebuild the village.
Choose your Skill:
Skill: Alchemy or Builder?
Learn the basics of Smurf Life through a brief tutorial and choose your initial skill: Alchemy or Building. The guide teaches you the basics as well as giving you a more in-depth look at the game. Plus it gives tips for better scores!
Game Options:
Sound, Notifications and Reset
Adjust sound, notifications, or reset your game by tapping "Options" on the starting page.
Create your Smurf:
Male or Female?
Choose your Clothing
Next, create your Smurf character: choose a boy or girl Smurf, name, hairstyle, and clothing. This initial outfit will be your default until you purchase or earn new clothes.
Screen Elements:

A. Smurf Count: Here is where you will see how many freed Smurfs are in the village. As you free them this count will go up.
B. Energy indicator: Energy is used to gather resources such as wood, stone, water, Rose petals and more. It will cost you a certain number of energy points to gather these items. Energy renews over time or you can purchase more with Moon Dust currency.
Note: Each time you increase your building level in the game you will have your energy meter completely refilled to its maximum amount.
C. Game Currency Indicators: The indicators are shown along the top of the screen and will show you how much of each type of currency you have on hand. Trade coins and Moon Dust each have their own indicator along the top. Moon Dust has a button with the "+" symbol to tap on which takes you to a menu to purchase more.
D. Quest Menu/Quest icons: (Red book icon along the top left of the game screen) Tap on this button to be taken to the quest menu. (See "Quests" below for more specific information.)
Click Compass and Track with the Golden Trail
E. Compass: Tap on the compass icon at the bottom left of the game screen to see any Smurf, resource, or object you have come in contact with. If you tap on the tab along the top and choose where you want to go you can then tap on "Track" and a golden trail will appear for your Smurf to follow. Use your fingertip to guide him or her there.
Utilities - Inventory and Wardrobe
F. Utilities: Tap on the arrow tab under the Smurf count icon at the top left of the game screen. Here a menu will drop down showing you how to access your inventory, wardrobe, and how to access the main menu.
Game Currency:
Game Currencies: Trade Tokens & Moon Dust
The game uses two currencies for resources and clothing: Trade Tokens (basic) and Moon Dust (premium), shown at the top of the screen.
Trade Tokens: Regular Money
Trade Tokens: Your Everyday Currency: Think of Trade Tokens as the regular money in Smurf Village. You start the game with 250 of them, and you’ll earn more by doing quests, helping other Smurfs, and making your village bigger (leveling up!). If you run out, you can even trade some of your Moon Dust for Trade Tokens! To use your Trade Tokens, look for Smurfs with a green shopping basket floating over their heads. When you tap on them, you’ll see a list of items you can buy with your Trade Tokens – things like wood, stone, and other resources you need to build and craft.
Moon Dust: Premium Currency
Moon Dust: Your Special, Premium Currency: Moon Dust is the special, premium currency in Smurf Life. It’s harder to get than Trade Tokens, but it lets you do some really cool things! You’ll start with 20 Moon Dust, and you can earn a little bit more when you level up or finish certain quests. Moon Dust lets you buy special clothes for your Smurf, unlock extra spots to make things in your workshops so you can craft more at once, and even skip the waiting time for recipes to finish instantly!
You get Moon Dust by purchasing it with real-world money. You can find the Moon Dust shop by tapping the "+" sign near the Moon Dust amount at the top of your screen. The game will also pop up a message asking if you want to buy Moon Dust if you try to do something that needs it. Moon Dust comes in different-sized packs that cost between $4.99 and $99.99. Buying the bigger packs is a better deal overall, because you get more Moon Dust for your money.
Quests:
Quest Menu
Access the Quest Menu by tapping the red book icon in the upper left corner of the screen. This will display a list of all active quests. Tap on a quest to read its details, then tap "Track" to begin. Smurf Life offers three distinct types of quests:- Profession Quests: Take on challenges from your trainers in Alchemy and Construction! These quests guide you through crafting recipes, allowing you to level up your profession and unlock new abilities.
- Expansion Quests: Rescue Smurfs trapped beneath rubble! By clearing obstacles and freeing these Smurfs, you'll increase your Smurf count and unlock new areas of the village to explore.
- Smurf Quests: Help your fellow Smurfs repair their homes! By assisting them, you'll not only free them but also unlock a celebratory party and expand your access to the village.
Quest Rewards
Successfully completing quests earns valuable rewards, including coins, premium Moon Dust, stylish clothing, and rare materials crucial for future adventures.
Professions:
Smurf Village offers various professions you'll learn from specialized Smurfs:- Alchemy (Potion Making): Taught by Alchemist Smurf or Papa Smurf.
- Building (Carpentry): Taught by Timber Smurf.
Profession Level & Mastery
As you complete recipes in each profession, you earn stars. Mastering recipes (achieving maximum stars) increases your profession level and speeds up future crafting.
Moving your Smurf & Tracking Icons:
Tracking Trails
Tracking Icon
Move your Smurf around the village to rescue trapped Smurfs and gather resources. Simply touch and hold your fingertip on the screen to direct your character. Look for tracking icons – tapping these will instantly guide your Smurf to the next quest objective.
Completing a Recipe:
A New Recipe Means a New Quest!
Tap the Wooden Hammer to Craft
New recipes = new quests in Smurf Life! When you see a new recipe appear (bottom right), gather its resources and craft the items in Alchemy or Building. Some resources require completing earlier recipes. Tap the wooden hammer to start crafting. Wait for the timer, or use Moon Dust for instant completion. Buy extra crafting slots with Moon Dust to work on multiple recipes.
Gathering Resources
Gathering Resources (Requring Energy)
Gathering resources like wood, stone, and flowers requires energy. Each resource displays an energy cost icon. Be mindful of your energy meter and plan your gathering trips to ensure you have enough energy to collect what you need for your recipes.
Gathering Resources from Trainers
Gathering Resources (Trade Tokens / Moon Dust)
Some recipes require items you can purchase with Trade Tokens. Look for trainers with a green shopping basket icon above their heads; tap them to open the Store menu. You can then purchase the needed items using either Trade Tokens or Moon Dust.
Completing Recipes
Give Away Your Recipe
After completing a recipe, exit the menu and look for the Smurf with a gift icon above their head. Tap the icon, then "Give" to present the item and claim your quest reward.
You Earned a Star!
Each recipe earns you stars, increasing your mastery and crafting speed. Master a recipe by earning all possible stars!
Trading Post:
Get Extra Coins
Visit the Trading Post (bulletin board) for special quests that reward extra coins!
Claim Your Earnings
Complete the quest, return to the board, and tap the trophy icon to claim your earnings. New quests will appear on the board as you complete them, offering a constant stream of opportunities.
Game Tips:- Efficient Movement: Use the tracking feature to guide your character. Buttons will center on your most recent quest.
- Trade Token Strategy: Save your Trade Tokens for essential store purchases related to quests. Avoid buying clothing until you have at least 300 in reserve.
- Precise Interaction: Position your character directly in front of an item before tapping its button to interact with it.
