Topic: Johan et Pirlouit taken off Internet Archive

Today, I discovered that the 17 albums of Johan et Pirlouit (Johan and Peewit) were taken off the Internet Archive and I find this absolutely devastating
I genuinely feel so guilty for not thinking of downloading them earlier, that was the only source (at least that I know of) to read Johan et Pirlouit and now it’s gone just like that. I’m not sure if they were taken down by the publishers discretion or for copyright reasons
If anyone has some sort of archive of the 17 albums please speak up! Johan and Peewit are an important, vital, piece to the Smurfs franchise and deserve to have their stories known too!

That’s also very terrible, Giggle Smurf. The Johan and Peewit comics are pretty obscure, so I can imagine that there may not be any archives for the Spanish version of them

This is very awful to know indeed; but you can find some J&P comics here:
The Smurfs and the Magic Flute on page 1;
Lord Basenhau's Punishment , The Master of Roucybeuf, The Night of the Wizards, The Flute Smurfers (a pre-Magic Flute adventure) on page 6 and The Sorcery of Maltrochu on page 7.
We've tried to find more, but hoping this helps you for a while!

Thank you for the reply, Squeaky Smurf, but now all I’m wondering is where those comics you translated were found, there must be a source. Do you happen to have more Johan et Pirlouit comics? I’m specifically out for the French translation not English. I bet other people who are looking for an English translation will find your reply very helpful, but unfortunately that’s not what I’m looking for, I’m sorry.
Also, you used to be able to easily look up that Internet Archive collection when you searched up Johan et Pirlouit/Johan and Peewit on Google, so I’m very confused about you saying "We’ve tried to find more." Did no one download it when it was still up?
Once again, I’m sorry, I really hope I don’t come off as rude in any way

No problem. I meant that we've tried to find a site with more J&P comics, either in English or French. The ones edited by Papercutz I found by chance.
But since you're interested in the ones in French only, I'll let you know when I get to find them.
