posted 08-12-202312:51 PMMedicom Toy is a Japanese toy trademark which has pre-ordered two collections of Smurf UDF (Ultra Detail Figures) measuring 7 - 9 cm.
UDF Smurfs Series #2: Surfer Smurf (with yellow swimsuit and red surfboard - the opposite of the Schleich one), Angry (Black) Smurf, Captain Papa Smurf (#20141), Smurf with Bird (inspired by SCCI Smurf with Dove, no doubt) and Astrosmurf riding his Moonbuggy (clearly y based on his Moon Explorer Playset ).
I suppose Schleich must have allowed it to launch these similar figurines, or else they would be considered bare-faced copies. What's your opinion about them?

It appears the Gnap Smurf (20007) is no longer black but purple, which is consistent with the HB cartoon. Based on the Large Mold figurine.
There is a slight change to Captain Papa. His telescope and buttons are brass, not yellow. The regular Captain has white clothes with brass telescope and buttons. It is like they combined the two colors / paints.
Karate Smurf (Judo Smurf) now has a green belt instead of a black belt. He has lost some of his martial arts status!
The Dove Smurf is super special. That was only available as a SCCI special figure of which only 250 were produced and came with their own certificate of authenticity.
Gargamel Jack-in-the-Box is based on the Jokey Trick Box. Over time the Super Smurf Jokey Trick Box often lost its Gargamel head!
