Topic: Essential smurfs movies, books, etc. for a father with dementia

My father has dementia, and he is a huge smurf fan. Due to his dementia, he has begun to forget about some essential smurf media that all smurf lovers know and love. I myself am not the biggest smurf fan so I don't know what's the best movies, books, comics, and tv shows for him to enjoy, please help a fellow blue buddy out and give me some recommendations for my father.

If he's got a DVD or Blu-Ray player, get him The Smurfs Season 1 discs from the early 1980s cartoon show.

Thank you for the recommendation, my father unfortunately only has a beta max player, but do you know where I might be able to find some tapes with season 1 of the show?

Sorry I can't be much help there. I only know there are a few Season 4 VHS tapes out in the wild; you'd probably pick them up at tag sales and Goodwill, if you're lucky.

Hello and welcome! I think your father also can watch Smurf cartoons on YouTube, many of them are from Seasons 1 and 2.
About the comics, they can be found on Amazon or even here: link

I have Betamax, Super Beta and ED-Beta tape machines. What type do you need?
