Hi! I would like some opinions on the different variations of smurfs that exist, regarding legit and tampered figures. I recently acquired a Go-Kart Super Smurf but unfortunately the seat has been painted brown, the engine is part black, and the figure has a yellow helmet instead of green (it was NOT I ordered). Any thoughts on how to deal with these situations, where the seller has tampered with the set? Also, apart from this site, are there any other trustworthy websites that give the variations and their worth? Thanks

Hello there, Dragonsmurf! I'm really afraid your Go-Kart Smurf (#40218) was repainted; I looked for other variations through Google and other Smurf collectors websites and I didn't get to find any of them so far. I know two very good ones by Gerda and Christy, two Smurf collectors who know really a lot about our adorable little blue buddies. I hope this helps for now, I'll look for others soon. ![[Wink]](wink.gif)
