Good morning, can anyone tell me about this cup please. I seem to remember entering a competion as a child and won this and a viewing of the Magic Flute. I believe it was sometime 1980 ish.

Sounds like you already know quite a bit about your ceramic Smurf Head Cup. It's from the 1980s. It comes from the UK. (It wasn't released in North America). It originally came in a yellow box that read, "Smurf Cup - (c) Peyo SEPP".

And I thought you might find this interesting... it's a photo of the same Smurf Cup but the eyes remain blue like his skin. It has been glazed without painting the eyes or smile.

Does your cup have any markings or stamp on the bottom of it?

Hi thanks for your reply. No theres no markings on the bottom of it.
I did nt know if it was a rare item now as it, or i seem a lot older haha.
