New Smurfette Book coming out on June 25, 2013.
Smurfette's Story
(The Smurfs 2 Movie Book)
Smurfette tells a heartwarming story of how she came to celebrate being different from the other Smurfs in the village. Smurfette thinks that she doesn’t belong in Smurf Village, but when Gargamel captures her, she ultimately discovers just what it means to be a Smurf—and gains a sister and brother along the way. Complete with Smurfette stickers!

Now I only wish "Weird Al" Yankovic would do a parody of his parody of the rap song "Ridin' Dirty" by Chamillionaire called "Blue And Smurfy".

After only an incomplete demo was leaked before, the official version of "Ooh La La" by Britney Spears is now on YouTube. I'm not a big fan of Britney but after listening to this song myself, I didn't think it was too bad. Nothing smurftacular, but it's OK.

I hate to say this but this song is just not good enough for me.
Where's Michel Legrand when you needed him the most?
I think Panic! at the Disco "Ready To Go" is much better ending theme.

That scene when Gargamel gliding down from Eiffel Tower really reminded me of the Franz Reichelt who died testing his homemade parachute contraption jumped to his death from the lower deck of Eiffel Tower in 1912.
But again this is the best trailer of them all!
Can't say if the awesomeness of trailer will apply to the full movie but I'll have to wait...mid of October to be exact.

Very funny, Sassette.
If I were in charge of doing CGI Smurfs in the same style as Sony Pictures Animation, I would want to see how a Smurf blushes at the sight of having to appear in only a hat and pants like the other Smurfs, as would be the case for my character Empath.

Who's excited for The Smurfs 2?! Now you can go see The Smurfs Movie for FREE at a drive-in near you, courtesy of Macy's!
Macy’s Great American Drive-In will pay homage to this time-honored family tradition by providing customers with a free showing of “The Smurfs”™ in pop-up drive-ins at select Macy’s stores and existing drive-in theaters nationwide.
“Macy’s American Icons campaign is an all-star salute to the American way and going to the drive-in theater is a cherished pastime that can be enjoyed by the whole family,” said Martine Reardon, Macy’s chief marketing officer. “There is great magic and excitement in attending a drive-in movie, and with this event, we can bring that experience to families nationwide.”
Throughout the month of June, Macy’s Great American Drive-In will have customers revving up engines across the country as the retailer celebrates a truly American activity, the drive-in theater. In select communities, drive-in events will offer children of all ages the opportunity to attend a screening of the family blockbuster, “The Smurfs” and a sneak peek of the upcoming family comedy, “The Smurfs 2”™, in theaters July 31.
Starting at dusk, customers can share the movie experience they remember from childhood through pop-up drive-ins at 20 Macy’s locations and on-screen at nine local drive-ins nationwide. To get energized pre-show, attendees are urged to come early for a free evening filled with family-friendly carnival activities, top tunes, delicious treats, giveaways and more.
